Incredible! I always love coming back to this thread once in a while to scope out the new stuff. Great new pieces. Definitely one of the centerpieces of the collection.

I'm at comic con and just added two new items to the collection. First is Dave Stevens variant cover sketchbook. Limited to only 300.

And my second item which is awesome is an alex Ross final preliminary sketch for cover #3 for the IDw mini series. before he paints the cover . He draws a small sketch for the publishers approval. Well I got one of the publishers approval sketches for one of the variant covers

Just had to chime in here as a fellow Finhead nut! Your collection is AMAZING. It's a museum! I'd love to have a few of those pieces immediately, that's for sure - that bronze 3/4 bust is my favorite to date. Great stuff!

Thanks guys for the comments.....it is a bedroom/museum haha. I am literally running out of room for everything. It is like playing tetris trying to fit everything into one room. Wall space is another problem....Soo many prints and not enough room on the wall especially with the 9 foot painting..


I might be moving the next couple of months and the plan is to have my very own rocketeer museum room. It will just be a room dedicated to the rocketeer, so i should have a little bit more room to fit everything in.

What an amazing collection. I know each item you have was not easy to come by. It must be great coming home to that everyday. I don't know if you are married or not. But if you aren't make sure the future Mrs. is a Rocketeer fan!

I dont think a married man in my position can afford to collect. I know one fellow finhead keeps on warning me about my funds after I get married and have kids. haha

I will make sure to have a prenup to make sure future Mrs. Rocketeer cant get her hands on anything

when everything is fixed up or after i move, i will make sure to have a small get together to show off the place.....or i can always bring stuff over...

I have to thank Utinni for pointing out the sketch in the first place. I walked right past the Alex Ross booth and didnt pay attention on what items they had. During lunch, Utinni and family told me about the sketches.....i had to rush back to purchase it haha

Have you ever thought about, and no I'm not kidding, but have you ever thought about partnering with Disney about getting some kind of Rocketeer Official webpage? How much fun would that be? Who better to keep the torch going than you?!

I doubt disney cares about the rocketeer anymore....the disney archives promoted the 20th anniversary which is a small branch within the disney corporation. Only a few still care about the character.

As of right now, Utinni, Dualedge, and myself are working on a website for the rocketeer. We are going to try to incorporate the finheadcentral so it can be a one stop rocketeer info place....Everything takes time and time has been limited recently


Side note: I am planning to go on a small hiatus in the near future, so I will try to update my page one last time. I'm taking a little break from everything to finish off a few rocketeer projects that I had been planning for awhile now, the website, moving, and work.....not enough time in the day

Looks like the Spirit of St. Louis has landed. My newest Rocketeer prop: Production Lucky Lindy Maquette. Thanks to a fellow finhead and friend, I have been able to acquire this beautiful piece for my collection.

Is it possible to get other copies or find a HI res file to take to a printer? If not would it be possible to get some information on all the technical notes?

No problemo. I always like helping people out with information. I try to be informative as much as possible with certain items so people know what to look for so they don't get ripped off or
Something else.

Rocketbobs is a member here on the forum but he rarely comes around.
I can email him for you to check and see if he has anymore copies or if he can make a few more.

Rocketbobs owned one of the original sketches of the peevy sketch and made copies of it to sell.

Let me know if you have anymore questions regarding anything else
