Awesome stuff! The rocket pack is incredible! Any chance of more detail pics? Any suggestions as to links or anything on the specs for the rocket pack? (size, etc) I would like to build an accurate 3D model and would appreciate any guidance.

Aw, crap. Something else I'm not going to be able to resist buying... and being the OCD collector that I am, I'm gonna have to get all the variants. My wife will NOT be happy... but man, I LOVE that first cover...

:lol I bought all the variants the comic book store had.......i'll hold off on purchasing the other 2 later.......there is a betty page photography cover, but i havent seen it online or on ebay...maybe last minute pull?

I found a guy on ebay selling three of the others and bought those and then just went to the place you linked to and ordered that one (and coolest of them all IMHO). Looking forward to seeing these in person. Let me know if you find that Betty Page cover... I'm really curious to see what that looks like. I've still got to order the finished Alex Ross variant...

it's the famous Betty Page WoW pose.....when cliff walks in on them while the photographer is taking pictures of her half.....um....you know....haha

the artwork is great inside except mike allred's section. His was absolutely horrible...Looks like one of those cartoon's you see in those disney adventure magazines........makes me miss dave stevens even more :cry

Yeah, as cool as it is - and that first cover done by Tommy Lee Edwards is pretty freaking awesome IMHO - it is depressing that we won't see any more of Dave's work. I'm really glad they put out that Artist's Edition book at least... Nobody could fill Dave Steven's shoes.

my newest item to the collection.......by far the best and most accurate jacket on the market....nothing comes close to it's beauty and accuracy.....worth every pretty penny


plus, i just got 2 oz helmets, so now I have 10 rocketeer helmets......i'll post pics of them later....

Just had to chime in here as a fellow Finhead nut! Your collection is AMAZING. It's a museum! I'd love to have a few of those pieces immediately, that's for sure - that bronze 3/4 bust is my favorite to date. Great stuff!

What an amazing collection. I know each item you have was not easy to come by. It must be great coming home to that everyday. I don't know if you are married or not. But if you aren't make sure the future Mrs. is a Rocketeer fan!
