My Nike MAG Project

Ok, I been getting a lot of PM asking if I'm doing conversions. I am doing them if you are interested in having me make your Mag's like the ones I did here please send me a PM and I will give you the details.

I am not able to post in the JY yet and Im not going to turn this thread in to a for sale post. I just want to mention it once that I'm and to just PM me.

why do when I connect he 3rd led... the 2nd one doesnt turn on!! Only the 1st & 3rd is.. ?? the 2nd one was one b4 I connect the 3rd... hhmmm....

Do you have the resistor installed correctly?

Each LED uses up voltage. So if you have 12 LED's that are using 1 volt each a 9v battery will not be enough. Most 5mm store bought LED's are 1.5+ volts. If you want 12 LED's in a series you will most likely have to have a bigger power source.

Whats the circuit like? And is the LED dim or out completely? You have to have a certain amount of voltage to forward bias the LED to even get it dim. Take a pic of what you got going but more then likely, your trying to run too many LED's off of a 9V. You could have to put them in parallel and even then you might not get enough current to have them be bright enough.
 
Got it!!! I even took the liberty to even further by letting it lid up to see how long it last b4 i proceed further and guess what!! Since 6am (ET) and now its almost 11am.. a near 5hrs usage and its still running..!!! Battery is cool.. Led is cool.. No Led died or burned!! GREAT SCOTT!! Time usage even for the nike mag it stated only last up to 5hrs... yeah... I'm close to the real thang!!

ah come on you shud have known that!

i'm trying to make the exact replica.. but sadly im doomed... there is no way to clear the yellowed soles... :S hhmm.... recommendations?

Take them apart and mold then, then cast a new part in clear rubber. It's the only way. However they did yellow on the original version also:

I wanted to try Rit dye Brightener & Whitener on the clear parts, I've seen Sea Glow cleaner from thE bay that works with multiple applications
 
in the movies it was clear blue like the latest mag.. this is due to oxidization over a period of time it turns yellows...
