Still have a few small things to do. I have to fix the light leak from the strap and putting the velcro on the strap. Other than that, this shoe is 100% wearable.

Thanks man, I have been following your clear soles projects. If i had more time I would work on it myself but you seem to have a good handle on it. Thanks for doing that and i cant wait to see your solution!

Sweet job MTB :cool

Thanks! After I finish my Iron man im going redo the wiring on these. Im tired of walking around for a few hours then a wire breaks. I have a few ideas that will fix that issue. But the Iron man needs to be finished first.

Anyone who says the wires don't come loose are lying IF you put them in the fabric. They will last maybe a few days with genuine outdoor wear, but will more than likely fail and then it's very difficult to replace bits etc. Sure, it's a lot neater, but that's the reason I kept mine loose in the shoe with a ton of extra wire. I have soldered, hot glued and taped my connections so they won't come loose. The only problem I had was initially a green LED that wasn't quite flush to the shoes rubber.

Yep, very true. I have an idea that should be simple and solve this issue once and for all. But I really need to finish the iron man first, I'm hoping to have the iron man done with in a month. Then ill devote all my time to the shoes before starting my next project.
