So I've been lurking around here for about a year now, looking at everyone's awesome Iron Man suits and decided it was about time that I made my own. I made this in my dorm room at college, and have been working on it in between doing homework for classes since the end of December, and I'm pretty pleased with the results. Next I plan on molding the pieces in silicone and then casting plastic pieces from those molds.

Finished chest piece

Finished back

Finished Bicep

Back and Chest pieces are glued together on one side, then use velcro to attach other side and get in. Shoulder and Bicep connected using the buckle and strap method.

Back and Arms all painted

Helmet done and painted

Alternate Angle

Knee and Thigh just attached with Chicago screws at the joint. I need to come up with a better method to allow for more maneuverability.

Completed arm. Chicago screw used at the joint. black velcro used to attach the hand plate and keep it in place.

Neck Piece
Lights!

Built a dummy to properly display my work.

Well that's about it for now. Thanks for taking a look, and there should be improvements coming soon.
