the helmet is almost finished! All I have left to do is add the screws on the back of the helmet!

on another note, who would be interested in the inside of the helmet looking the way Iron Man's helmet is supposed to look? I mean with all of the electronics and what not. It would take away some of the space in the helmet, but it would really add to the realism! I'm contemplating modeling this into the faceplate I have. Something kind of like this!

Could've spent a little more time puttying, but it looks decent enough for what it is![]()

Use this stuff to glue the parts together. Works great on pla

I used masking tape on the outside of my helmet to hold my parts together while I plastruct the inside. Takes about 20 seconds to get tacky and I let it set overnight to make sure of a good bond.
What I do to "glue" PLA together is use some of the filament as a welding material and a soldering ironmelt it together...on the inside part
stronger than the rest of the print...
My chief concern though: anyone having problems with the faceplate not sitting flush into the rest of the helmet? I cant tell if the widows peak on the skullcap is too wide and needs to be sanded down to fit into the faceplate, or if I'm experiencing some subtle warping on the top 'prongs' of the faceplate in which case, how might I go about fixing that?
