My first actual kitbash… complete!

So for the longest time I’ve wanted to do a genuine kitbash. Take a bunch of bits and build my own spaceship. Finally got around to giving it a go.

Here’s my junk pile…

I opted to use the vintage space toy for the main body section and the SW tank turret for the front. Added a bunch of bits, mostly tank parts…

All dressed up, ready for paint.

I tip my hat to you for actually building a star ship from scratch, something I have been wanting to do for years but just haven't done yet. The overall shape is fantastic and it will look even better with paint on it. Do you have a particular scheme in mind? The only thing I would add is some antennas up front. Looking forward to seeing the end result

I’m a big fan of the Insta Cure range of superglue. Great for plastic models, 3D PLA parts and resin kits. I mostly use the purple one which is also part filler.

Nice! That badboy comes with chips and cracks that are begging to be scorch-marked/ weathered.

Looks great! A consistent coat of paint really pulls everything together.

Love it. Looks very steampunky or TOS Galactica. The paint job is what's going to sell it, much like the Millennium Falcon. Can't wait to see you start to detail paint it.

brilliant job YES that coat of primer brings it all together, painting is not my strong point at all but I am waiting to see what you do with this wonderful craft you have created, have you started to collect stuff for your next build ? there will now have to be a fleet of craft,
