Heck yeah! Thats the same clamp I've got on my custom.
Nice. Throw up some pics!
Is there any more info on the flash handle? I read that it's Canon but is there a part or model number?
I used two types of Canon rangefinder flashguns for the body. 90% of what you are seeing is a "Canon Main Flash Unit" also sometimes called "Canon Flash Unit X" with a battery extension. The shiny chrome collar at the emitter end came from a "Canon Flash Unit Y."
The Main or X units are a bit harder to find, especially with that battery extension piece. The Y units are pretty common, though dealers like to jack up the price sometimes for no apparent reason.
Do they both have the same clamp? Id love to get me one of those...
Only the Main/X model has the two oval holes, but the Y model is the same except for those.
I notice you have like a 6 bubble strip in there, is it shorter than a graflex clamp?
Does the Y model you have have a thumb wheel type dial for the Micro-Sync (M.S.).
Does the emitter extension just slip into the flash or did you have to cut stuff to make it fit?
thanks
