WOW... thank you all so much for the encouragement!!! I have been practicing the Bane stare as I call it... as mentioned... he had to use his eyes to express emotion... I felt that was going to be importiant in trying to do the character justice. I cant wait to finish this all up... just picked up a Bane sweedish bomber trenchcoat... hopefully it fits good over the vest...lol. Will need it when I take my kids out on Halloween in full gear..

Thanks again to all!! I really appreciate it!! The coat just showed up today.... kinda tight in the upper arms... hmmm...perhaps I should listen to martcpl705 and dial the venom down a touch?.....lol!!!...but it fits great!! will post pics very soon!!!

Holy ****. I'm going to have to go along with what the others have been saying, and say that this is the best Bane costume I've seen. I mean, plenty of other members on this forum have shown us masks and vests and such that have been equally as awesome, but it's your build that really sells it. Seriously, you could be mistaken for Tom Hardy himself in that getup. Very impressive work!

Amazing! A bane costume is nothing if the wearer doesnt have the size to pull it off. I agree about getting a makeup to cover up your tattoo to get the real effect. You have the poses and the look really good. By far the best bane i've ever seen.

Here are pics of the new coat... fits real good...and should be fine over my vest. Kinda tight in the arms...but it still fits great and I really like how it looks!! Just about ready for the full costume pics.. wish those pants from banepants would get here soon! LOL!!

Thanks Panaflex!!! I will.....thinking about heading to downtown chicago in FULL gear to take pics for the full costume run. Really appreciate the awesome words from ALL on here... thanks so much for letting me know my hard work putting this costume together....and in the gym to try to make it look good ... is paying off!! You guys ALL ROCK!!!

ANY suggestions on how to...or where I could go to get the straps put on my boots to make them look a bit more authentic?? ALL input will be ....as batmans armory was.....GRATEFULLY ACCEPTED :lol

May have to cave and just wear the grey cargo pants I have...and do a (mostly) complete costume test run real soon... kinda itching to try the whole thing on,. and dont think I can wait till Oct 6th or so for the bane pants to arrive..lol.
