An RPF Open Source 5 ft Millennium Falcon Build/Reference Thread. All Are Welcome

Ikmtrying the freezer method first. I’ll leave it in overnight and try tomorrow.
Yea that's probably safer than the green stuff. It can make some plastic slimy. Just depends on the type of styrene. I used it on an F4 part for the Galactica and it worked well. But its a roll of the dice.

Before and after!! Didn’t lose a one. :) Woohoo!!

Finally got to try my 3D scanner. I’m hoping to use this to replicate some parts. We’ll see…

The part circled in red is Tamiya 1/25 Centurion, either part #C41 or #C42 -- these are mirrored parts, but the backs of both are identical, and this is the backside facing out on the model.
Thank you so much. I've spent the last day staring at that kit as it makes up a lot of the rear underside. I thought that part might be in the kit, but could never find the other side to confirm. Every pic only shows the "plain" side.

So on the original parts map from back in the day the numbered part below is listed as the Tamiya 1/35 M60. However the Bandai 1/25 looks closer to my eye. Was this something corrected later? Is it neither?
