** Did you use fiberglass resin on it to make it stiff?: (7th and 8th pics) -and did you use clay- or bondo for (9th,10th, and 11th pics) ?

He used bondo, you can see the can in the first picture of the seventh post

Finally made a rear panel. Still a little tweaking here and there but... Well here it is.

Sorry for the crappy pics... I'll get better ones when I get a little more Bondo on it and hit it up with primer again... Till then... Hope you like it!

So... I've decided to redo the ear pucks... I didn't like the way they looked at first and this is the progress so far! (took one out of Volpin's playbook!)

So I went camping this weekend... And my dad thought it would be cool to give my helmet to a painter buddy of his to get some color on this thing... It's not the right color, nor was I done shaping it fully, so it's not totally done but still cool to see some color on it I guess... Thanks Dad.

Someone on thedaftclub.com was talking some ish about the roundness of my lid so I decided to redo the back plate today and make it a bit more Discovery style! Thoughts?

So this is because I am a nutcase who can't leave well enough alone... I decided to go Tron Style in the front...

the blocky chin looks a bit... too blocky for me. I think it might be better of you feathered the edges in somewhat.

Personally, I like the rounded front best.

I'll do that. Thanks for the advice. It's just a bit hard to tell in the pictures of his Tron Helmet what the thing really looks like. I'll round out the edges a bit more though and we'll see where that takes me. This whole thing has been one heck of a learning process... haha.
