Speed Racer

im a fan of it too, my dad and I use to watch the cartoon when i was young. it was a cool experience going to the theater to watch it. when we left he said " well i just wasted a couple hours of my life" he hated it, he's not much a movie theater person anyway lol

Superman 3. I know it's odd but I grew up on it and Evil Superman is great. I've been meaning to give Crystal Skull another shot but haven't yet.

I remember YEARS ago walking into a circle of Trek fans who were arguing which Star Trek movie was best... I had just watched them all, and while I didn't LOVE any of them, I blurted out "Which is the one where they're looking for God? Yeah that one... I liked that one..."

And everyone just got silent and stared at me...

"What does God need... with a star ship?!"

More silence...

"Row Row Row your boa-"

"Please leave this conversation"

and so I left... not sure why they looked so mad.

I really need to rewatch those...

I've always been fond of Eddie Murphy's "Coming to America", I liked it for the reason that most people hated it for, Eddie Murphy wasn't just playing himself or Axel Foley. I liked that he actually played a different character and I liked that character, along with all of the other characters that he and Arsenio Hall played.

Dude, people hate that movie? All my friends and most people I know LOVE that movie.

I love Ghostbusters 2, and apparently that is reviled, especially on this forum. :lol

Star Trek V has it flaws, but in many ways I like it more than I liked Star Trek III or IV.

Now that I've finally seen it, I'll put Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice up for consideration. It's not a perfect movie, but I don't understand all of the hate for it. But then, I think the Donner-era Superman movies are horrible (except for Christopher Reeve and John Williams' score) so my tastes tend to run contrary to popular opinion.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park
I don't fully understand the hate for this movie (Well, except for THAT scene with Malcolm's daughter :sick) but other than that I think it is a good movie with a decent plot and good acting
