mouse droid plans?

in a new hope, when luke and han get onto the death star with chewy, there's a scene where they're dressed as stormtroopers escorted "prisoner" chewy, they're walking down a corridor and there's a little robot (like a radio controlled car) that runs away from them

anyone got any good pics of it? or plans to make one? might give it a go

MSE-6 "Mouse Droid".

I think it was Mansugi or Mon Cal who sold kits. They are not entirely 1:1 ... more like the scale that you would remember them by. Or at least I think that the screen-used mouse droids look much smaller on screen than in real life.

there's one on here i can find but the guy wants $350! i'll just give making my own a go i think. has anyone got the plans to make one?

It's the MSE-6 "Mouse" droid. Join the builders club on Yahoo, we've got full-scale plans posted. There are 2 or 3 people who make kits but none of them are full size. Most people are surprised that the droid is actually 22" long, way bigger than they expect. In case anybody is reading this?

The droid in the film looks smaller than the measurements given in the plans, going by the size of the wheels. Is there more than one mouse droid ?

I know this is an old thread, but I need to pad my post count.

It was actually just called a "Baby Box Robot".

Once merchandising took off and an "official" name was needed, it was labelled the "Mouse Droid" and subsequently the "MSE-6".
