Paramount Home Media Distribution will release on Blu-ray Mission: Impossible: The Original TV Series (1966-1973).
The 46-disc box set is available for pre-order now and will be released on December 1, 2020

Paramount: Mission Impossible The Original TV Series Heading to Blu-ray (UPDATED)

EDIT: Don't get it from Amazon. They just stuck a shipping label on the box set and mailed it with no proper outer shipping box, and it arrived damaged.

Don't buy the set from Amazon directly. I received mine today, and they didn't even put it in a shipping box. They just stuck a UPS label on the box set and shipped it without a proper mailing box or anything. The outer box is beat up and dirty, and the plastic wrap is torn. It looks as though it was handled very roughly, and there may be damage to the discs.

Complain and have them send you another one.

As soon as I received it like this, I asked for them to send a replacement in an actual shipping box. It should arrive in a few days.

It shouldn't be acceptable to just stick a mailing label on the flimsy retail packaging and send it out like this. It was shipped to me from Amazon's fulfillment center in Braselton, GA, which is less than 200 miles away. It was handled very roughly for such a short trip.

Half the time even if they use a box, there is no padding, or so little they might as well have not used any.

No, it shouldn't, but Amazon is a huge company with thousands of employees often working independently, especially right now. This is a training problem that Amazon does take care of and the employee who did that will either be retrained or terminated and deservedly so. They lose money every time this happens. Sometimes, they don't care, it costs more to worry about it than it does to just write it off, which is why they often just let you keep the damaged item and just send you a new one.

That's exactly what they did with my replacement set. The outer box is bent/damaged on one side, but I think that's probably the best that I can expect from them at this point, unfortunately.
