In a shocking twist, my daughter actually said she wanted to be an Alien for Halloween!
(I swear, no prodding or prompting from me!)
I built it from stuff I already had laying around, mostly consisting of various types of foam. Overall we had a lot of fun with the build. Everything fits a bit big, but I can fix some of that by tightening up the shoulder straps so it doesn't sit so low on her. She seems pretty comfortable in it, but hopefully she doesn't lose interest too fast. As she gets bigger I think this will only become a better fit on her for when things get back to normal with conventions and stuff.
