This is really a great project I love these robot builds! For the shoes (never did casting before) What if you cast a pair of shoes into the feet then they would fit like shoes! Just a thought not sure if you could do this or if it will work.

I wouldnt forsee being able to cast them but its simple enough to add a sandle-like shoe to the bottoms prior to adding the tops.

Just a mention for those in Europe that Arte will be broadcasting the new version live on the 12th of February.

And there is a book about to come out with hundreds of photographs of the film combining the archives of the Cinematheques in Paris and Berlin.

My goal is to complete a full wearable costume for Wonderfest in May. Im also working to complete a Rotwang as well as a Maria in human form dress for my daughter and son in law.

Shes 22 now.

Its not too difficult. I have everything but the long trench coat. Nothing yet that long so Ive decided that Ill have to make it from scratch.

I finished the glove which is interesting in itself.

My anticipation for Wonderfest just went into hyperdrive!

I generally frown on costumes at Wonderfest because it's not really that kind of show. But this will be awesome.

I love Wondfest for the vintage Scifi and horror aspects and this costume should fit the theme.
