I‘m in the process of creating a screen accurate replica of the MSP5 as used by the ISB officers in the Andor series. Since there seem to be different versions, I‘m going for the type with silver cooling fins and straight wire as Partagaz‘ and Dedra‘s blaster.
As far as I know, the Andor MSP5s are based on a WE M712 Airsoft replica with short magazine. The lefthand side seems to have a plate resembling the original Mauser C96/Denix replica.
On the right side of the mag well there seem to be two RS-338 push-buttons below a notched plate.
Does anyone have proper details on the buttons used for Andor?
When I look at other MSP5 threads (especially concerning the OT/ANH ones) the buttons are always cited as RS-338 (as in the Parts of SW layout). But when searching for those buttons on the net I‘ll only find resources from different forums or e.g. Wannawanga, but never original data or technical drawings.
Furthermore the buttons seem to be reduced in height, comparing them to photos of the „original“ RS-338 ones.
So again, does anyone have more insight on the greeblies used for the Andor MSP5s?
