Merr Sonn Blaster

I had built a ANH DL-44 based on a Denix several years ago. Soon after I finished, Blaster Factory released the steel C-96 replica! I pick one up already built for a more accurate ANH Han blaster and figured with all the work I put into this Denix I'd turn it into a Merr Sonn version. I removed the scope, mount, studs, & filled the holes with JB Weld. Since this blaster was painted black, this was an easy fix.

After some lacquer primer and flat black paint on the lower, it looked great! I picked up a Blaster Factory Merr Sonn kit and it's spectacular! The Michelle pulley, flat discs, & A/V plug are all machined aluminum and already anodized black! The buttons are very well replicated in what seems like injection molded plastic. The model airplane cylinders and pontoon are really nice too! Cylinders are even pre cut!

I would like to thank Chris at Blaster Factory and Andy enaswede when he was alive he and I talked a lot about building blasters. His post was a real help when I put this together. I miss you buddy, thanks for the help!
