Merchandise and props you can buy at Disney’s upcoming Galaxy’s Edge attraction.

I recently went to Galaxys Edge Orlando and couldn't leave without buying a Lightsaber. After quite a while of deliberating, I opted for Rey's in the end. Not 100% accurate I know but never the less a great display piece for the price. The design seems to be taken from the PropShop saber.

Something I've been wondering about, and I really haven't seen much talk about, is the replica instruments that are being sold. The ones that play music. Has anyone bought any? Has anyone done a review of them? I'm interested in seeing more about them.

I didn't know they played music, they look just like plastic versions. That is if you're referring to the cantina band instruments they sell at the Toy makers shop. I'll take a closer look at them the next time I'm there and give you my full thoughts and some better photos of them.

Yeah, the cantina band instruments. I heard before that they play music-- or at least one of them does, I don't know if all of them do. Before Galaxy's Edge opened the instruments looked nice in the preview pictures but I haven't really seen anything about them since.

From what I recall, there's at least one of them that plays music as I remember a kid at the store playing around with one and it was playing some tune. I want to say there's more than one instrument version available.

Yes there are two different ones and they both have buttons that make both random notes so you could play it like an instrument and it will also play pre-recorded songs as well. They are $24.99 each.

I looked them up, there's the "Figrin D'an Musical Instrument" and the "Max Rebo Musical Instrument" (or it might be Droopy McCool, I couldn't read the tag in the image, it was really blurry). I found a video of the Figrin D'an one, it looks pretty awesome, but I couldn't find anything on the Rebo/McCool one.

Ah well. Guess I'll see them when I go in December. Definitely going to buy the Figrin instrument at least.

Sorry I did promised photos. I will take some tomorrow when I go back. But yes one is the thing that Figrin plays (the Jizz horn and I bet that's why they didnt call it that) and it does look pretty cool, but very clearly plastic. The other is the one that Droopy plays since Max plays the keyboard thing and it's like a space clarinet. That makes sense now that you mention it since the song it played was the Jabba's palace song (the SE version). So in summary they don't have all of the cantina band members instruments.

Predatormv, what are your thoughts on the Obi Wan Ep1/2 saber? Are the comparable to the Black Series or are they plastic detailed? Do you know what those and the blades are selling for? Also, do they have them in stock? I am really interested in getting one of those. Thank you, really awesome that you are helping out folks that cannot get there!

They are nice, it's a mix of materials like the black series metal and plastics mostly metal though. The blades are $45 for the shorter and $49.99 for the longer. They have had it in stock the last bunch of times I've been, things go in and out of stock daily. So something that's sold out today might be back tomorrow but I've not seen that one sold out yet.

Yes. Would you like some?

Would you mind checking the sizes the emperor robes come in? I was just there, bought a set, and had it shipped home thinking those were one size (I'm not sure why I thought that, I guess because they were at Dok Ondar's and not the costume shop)...they're not...and I got a 2/3X which is going to look a little silly on a mannequin...

They get new sizes almost every day what size are you looking for? I'll be happy to pick a new set up for you but I've already got my hands full with exchanges from the purchases I'm making and wouldn't be able to do a full exchange for you.

Just need to know what the size options are. I have a friend going down next month, so I can have him do the exchange.

It's normal shirt sizes, but the length is also based on the size so it gets shorter as it gets smaller. If you've got a friend going they might have to send you a picture of what is available that day and what they look like on an actual person. Because the small technically fit over my 175lb body no problem but it only came down to my shins/ankles and I'm 5"11, the 2xl was baggy but fit length wise great.

Okay, so it's actual one size sizes (S, M, L, XL) up until you get to the 2/3X. That's what I needed to know. Thanks. I wasn't sure if they were all the in between sizing like the 2/3X (S/M is one size, L/XL, etc) or if that was just the largest size.

I'll be putting it on a 6 foot mannequin, maybe I should just keep the 2/3x and use safety pins in the back to make it look less enormous. Or do you think a L or XL would be better?
