MCU Spider-Man - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

Well, that's my contribution:

I finished my new pattern design about the MCU Spider-Man Mask. Unfortunately, I don't have pictures of the finished mask, but when someone try this sublimated design, please share with me pics of the result. Thanks and enjoy it :)

Hi there :) My name is JaredRmz and I'm actually new to this Forums. And I think I kinda figured out the moving eye pieces part. They are not necessarily mechanical, and don't require the use of a faceshell neither, they're just some plastic pieces on your eyebrows' part and on the cheek, so you can expand and shrink the size between the lenses space. Here's a little test on the WIP, so that's why the mask looks kinda messy.( I was removing the other lens, my mouth and nose are visible, etc.) but once it is finished the esthetical aspects of the mask will be corrected and aligned so it looks good and be functional as well. Thank you :)

I had a go myself at the Mechanical lenses, and I found this way to be pretty successful with limited amount of space needed. Using the graphics that Ken made, I built a really crappy prototype with cardboard, thumbtacks, dental floss and a rubber band. My idea was to have a sort of "hook" attached to a linear servo that can both push both the bottom pieces of Ken's design into position as well as pull them back. The hook is also attached the the top piece with a string, so when it pushes the bottom ones, it also pulls down the top. A rubber band pulls the top back into the open position as the hook pulls back the two bottom pieces.

Here's a video of them moving and all that :)

I plan to use DVD cases for the lens pieces and a MUCH smaller hook (possibly a paperclip or needle that's been bent and painted black, so it goes unnoticed), then put them inside of my faceshell, connected to a Microcontroller inside my webshooter and buttons at my palm.

I guess this is a nice idea, but could be difficult with a faceshell under the mask

Well, actually, it goes under the mask. But if you want to use a Faceshell, you could use it and still make the mechanism work as long as the cheek and eyebrow sections are beneath the shell and mask. Therefore making it work.

Any chance you will tackle the Homecoming version Ken? Tried modding your file myself but I don't quite have the skill to get the lines right:rolleyes

Out of curiosity has anyone here printed kenlandrum v4 suit? I noticed some zentai sites have the civil war suit and there is some shading that looks cool. I'm curious if the kenlandrum v4 CW suit looks better since it doesn't have that? Also huge thanks for providing the files! Right now the only thing I need to concentrate on is getting into Spider-Man shpae xD

Can anyone let me know if I wanted to get a printed suit. Would it be better to order from zentai zentai or heroestime? Also are any of the add ons a good thing to add on? I was wondering about the one that had add on soles to the feet, has anyone done this? Is it a good add on? are they annoying?

Thanks!

Has anyone already 3D printed Kenlandrum's new webshooters? Would love to see pictures of them as I'm still thinking about ordering them!

Both Zentai Zentai and HeroesTime are known to steal prints. Use Zentai Zone or RPC Studio. The options I always get on my suits are detached mask, wrist zippers, and a crotch zipper.
