Forgot to mention it wont even turn on in test mode, no function at all.
I'd be looking to kick someone in the balls if I were you right now. That really sucks.
I bought five so when they arrive at least one has to work right?
REALLY hoping they arrive tomorrow, I need one for Saturday!

Yeah it really does suck. Bad enough shipping took as long as it did, now I have to wait on the email from Matty to start my replacement process. Word is they need this shipped back before they can send you a replacement. Who knows how long before I have a working one. Hopefully you get some that work. If all 5 is possessed like mine that would be nuts. Good luck man.

Got mine today!!! I put it through it's paces. The only complaint I have is the pedal is a bit cheap feeling and looking. I think I might try to upgrade the wires on it to make it look a little more realistic

Why thank you! The Slimer was a pain to build up, the casting was really bad and the mold died while it was made so I had to build up a lot of missing areas. There are better pics of him at http://www.therpf.com/f9/ghostbusters-slimer-wall-hanger-done-100613/

Making a new pedal to go with the trap and it working with the cable wouldn't be hard at all. I was thinking of making a new cable all together.
I am sure he could sell the defective one for at least half.
Looking around the net, the shipping is a common problem

Some of the paths these people posted are fricken hilarious and sick at the same time. It is almost as if they blindly ship these out across the country to various distribution centers, then the centers have to take on the responsibility of figuring out where it should go and send it back in the right direction.

Just want to take shower, then the doorbell rings... Jumped in my clothes and it was DHL. Glad I wasn't already under the shower... 
Yes, it was my ghost trap. It is awesome.
But the same problem with the pedal... Is it 1:1 to the movie pedal? my foot is too big to press the pedal, can't imagine that it works with boots at all...
The trap itself is ok... I like it, and now I've got a trap after all these years...
so, pack is still missing, working on it, I don't hope Matty releases a pack next year...

Your trap made it to Germany, but mine can't make it to me in the US?? How us this possible? I ordered in the first fifeteen minutes and they can't seem to get it across country, but across the ocean, no problem??

sorry to hear, I ordered not directly from Mattel, I ordered via a big store for figures and toys here in germany, it arrived oct. 25th here in germany and took 3 days to my door...
Don't know if they'Ve got any contracts with Mattel, but I think they get it faster because they ordered not just 1 or 2, and of course through their status as a commercial seller/shop...

Just got mine, after a geographical roundabout.
I ordered from a shop in Naples (South Italy).
After he got it, he sent it on. First it went to Milan , then up to Germany, then back down to Malta .
