Material for Emperor's Robe from ROTJ

Right now im researching material for Palpatines robe and I have come across this material. The seamtress who is going to sew it for me says it is monks cloth but the description doesn't indicate anything about Monks cloth(as I know Monks shrinks and deforms). What do you guys think?

Try contacting member Cyberman https://www.therpf.com/member.php?u=1479 he is more experienced about the better fabrics ... though the fabric in your link looks good ... I know that Cyberman once mentioned the waffle weave was more rectangular on the real fabric than square When visiting STAR WARS Identities I got a close look at Lando's General Robe and it does look the same more rectangular waffle weave as mentioned for the Emperor ... so it's possible a blanc fabric was purchased for ROTJ and then dyed in the colour they needed ... blue for Lando and black for the Emperor.
