Mass Effect 3 Ending, opinions and feelings?

If it's not a move to try and quell some of the bad press with deflection the timing doesn't look good.
Or how about the fact that the god child specifically calls those synthetics Reapers? I seem to remember...
- Commander Shepard: Sovereign isn't just some Reaper ship Saren found. It's an actual Reaper!
- Sovereign: Reaper? A label created by the Protheans to give voice to their destruction. In the end, what they chose to call us is irrelevant. We simply... are.
Or better yet, you remember the Geth in the original Mass Effect? They didn't turn into monstrous killing machines because they rebelled against the Quarians. All they did to their creators was kick them off their home world. The reason they turned into killing machines was because they were being influenced by Sovereign to attack organic life!
And if this god child was the creator of the Reapers and resides on the Citadel, why than didn't it do anything to help Soverign when he tried to bring the Reapers back from dark space? I fail to see how this entity can create synthetic life with such power, control elevators in key areas, but can't even use the Citadel the way it was designed to work. Remember, the Keepers were the key to turning the Citadel into a relay. The method of turning the Citadel into a relay WAS STILL THERE. That is why Sovereign sent Saren to code it in himself which is why Shepard went in after him.

I beat the game last night and have to agree with the general public on the endings. It felt so incomplete and left more questions. I liked the game for the most part, except the last 5-10 minutes.
If you go to biowares forum, they have a thread for peoples feelings on the ending, that was started 5 days ago and has 310 pages already... Over 7500 posts. That is just insane!

The BBC and ESPN are covering how bad things are now and the BBC supported the customers and not the company. Also apparently EA's giving PC users refunds for the game now.
Remember in ME1 when you cleared the one base the Geth were broadcasting a Quarian opera which to me meant that they missed their creators. Somehow in ME 3 they turned into blood thirsty killers.

The geth weren't bloodthirsty killers... they didn't attack the Quarians. The Quarians came after them! The Quarians were the aggressor against the geth in ME3.

On another site I came upon a comparison that made me chuckle. Fans wanted or expected the ending to "Saving Private Ryan" but were given the ending to "Matrix Revolutions" instead.
For all the Reaper's (and Star Child's) claims that synthetics would rise up and kill organics the only time that happened in the current cycle is when the Reapers indoctrinated the Geth.
If I ever do go back to playing I may just let Marauder Shields save me from the ending.

I read a little on a blog attached to the ME wiki page and I'm glad other people also thought that it was odd that the Normandy was using a relay when it was supposed to be in the fight on Earth. There's no way Bioware could defend that, it just absolutely makes no sense. They also said there's a sound file that Seth Green recorded where he says, to Cortez, that he doesn't want to miss the party. I'm assuming a victory party. It was cut in favor of the "kick the fans in the balls" Normany gets stranded ending.
I think they need to scrap everything after the scene with TIM in the Citadel. The Crucible kills the Reapers, the Citadel and Relays remain, and the Normandy rescues Shepard. Anderson can still die because that helps the sacrifice part, and it was a touching scene between them IMO. I think the Reapers, as intelligent entities rather than puppets, are cooler anyway. Scrap the whole AI that controls them and give the Reapers their own agenda or leave it a mystery.
People also mentioned that the Turians can't survive on Earth because of their biology so they would die after the food on their ships ran out. So if your Garrus survived, it was a delayed death sentence. Hooray for winning!

Well, give the man a pat on the back for perfecting the field of "Missing The Point". Earth can be saved, Shepard can live, but it isn't worth much since nothing that makes sense actually happens. But I do enjoy the sense that he honestly believes there are a lot less endings in the game than there are. Also, check out this comment regarding the Titanic.
"It's like suing James Cameron because the Titanic sank at the end of the movie, he continued, emphasizing that the game is fiction, and the complainants have "to grow up and accept that."
Oh, no Michael. That's not what I'm saying. I HAVE ACCEPTED THIS ENDING and the potential decision by Bioware that they will stand by it regardless. What you must understand is with acceptance also comes resolution, and resolutions can vary even when on the same topic. My resolution from accepting this ending has painted Bioware as a company who willingly cheapened what could have been their greatest game and misled the gaming community about how their experiences and choices would have a dramatic effect in the game's outcome.

You don't post articles involving small minorities and you certainly don't post articles every time someone sues some company over silly things. We are not a minority. I've never seen this sort of thing happen before. Not with the Matrix, not with Tree of Life, and certainly not with Bioware games.

Right, I've never seen any complaints to this degree about a game's ending. That's because 90% of the people who played it know that Bioware royally f*cked up big time. Bioware knows they messed up or they wouldn't even consider changing it. They'd just say "We're sorry people are upset, but we stand by it."

I'm saying to my friends that love this game that it was the greatest ending ever to any media object just to watch their rage.
