Awesome work man! i follow you because there are few propmakers that are realizing the M7 with fiberglass and you are one of these. Morover your M7 looks like good and i can't wait to see the final result.(y))

Thank you very much bud,it's been a pretty rewarding build, slow and steady but very fun

Is your abs flexible? I'm wondering how to make joints flexible while in the same time covering as much body as possible.

No,the abs are connected to the cod piece so it fits like a rigid girdle that I slide on,it will probably hinder my movement quite a bit but I should still be able to get around pretty well. I'll probably end up doing a foam version later down the road with flexible abs(for conventions) This suit will end up being for display purposes and hopefully appearances at children's hospitals and events where I don't have to keep the suit on for more than a few hours

This build may be taking a hiatus since my daughter was born yesterday, going to have some baby times instead of garage building times for awhile. I'll tinker here and there but I may take on a few smaller projects on a smaller scale while she's still tiny.

Hey congrats man!

Make sure you and the misses get plenty of rest. Also if you work on any project large or small... make sure to wash/cleanup really well before tending to baby duties ;)

Thanks everybody! Yep definitely no bondo sanding for awhile

Is this pep or have you just made it yourself?
I used several pepakura files from the talented folks here on therpf, just used foam files for the cardboard

Switching over to a relatively quick foam build of the Mark VII since I can't really work in the garage covered in fiberglass and bondo dust with my little one...so here's a bit of progress to show that no matter how many diapers I have to change or late night feedings,I'm going to keep building

just right here on the forums,Darkside501st has pretty much all the files you'll need with links to extra pieces like hands, boots and the neck, also there are several Facebook groups with files and building tips,so there's tons of great resources! Feel free to message me if you have any other questions

a little more progress on the foam suit, started the chest(deciding to go slightly smaller on this and the back to allow for a more snug fit and better range of motion at the shoulders)
I also have the hands pretty much finished, I used the mini hulkbuster mashup files for the hands(very easy to construct and the default scale fit my Frankenstein hands perfectly)
