That figure looks badass. Its larger at 16.6 inches vs the one listed here at 12.5. To the OP, would the finish be similar to that Hot Toys one? It looks to be super realistic....

I also ordered the Sideshow one and am fortunate enough to be on this run. I actually prefer the subtlety that sctarts went with for his version. I think it’s going to look better on the silicone. As for the size differences, I wonder if the current model can be adjusted by making the body frame a bit longer as the head looks dead on.

The 16.6" height listed by Sideshow seems to include the height of the display base as well. So the figure itself is likely closer to 14". Not a huge difference.

The Sideshow looks to be static and all resin (the head and hands and stuff, his outfit is cloth), this run's has armature wire so it can be posed and is made of silicone. Wish I could have afforded to get in on this.

The SideShow Child is being made with the help of Legacy (who made the one used on the show) so he's going to be absolutely spot on. With that said, this run is incredible and the people that jumped on it when it was announced are super lucky, it looks fantastic.

We think that the base might be around 3 inches thick or so, so I would assume the Sideshow child is around 13.5 or 14?

We were already doing a change in coat material based on some other new reference pics, and the sideshow prototype pics just confirmed our thoughts on the duck canvas. We've hand dyed several yards to make into the new coats, my stitcher is here tomorrow to assemble, so I should have pics of that hopefully by Sunday or Monday.

All the plaques are cast and finished, and I'm painting away on heads, feet and hands, so I'll post some progress pics of that too. I'm definitely liking some of the fine capillary detail I'm seeing on the SS prototype, so that's being added to this silicon baby run.

More very soon! The plan is to start shipping some of the first orders here at the end of next week.

Some head paint work.... each one takes about 4 hours, oy vey.... ha ha! Have a decent flow down for all the details and in what order I lay down the paint job. Silicon paint, she ain't so easy. :)

Okay that’s amazing! Beautiful work!

Out of curiosity, will the eyes be loose inside the head (like will we be able to swap them/pose them) or will they be fixed in position?

I just have to jump in and say that as amazing as the pictures of this are, you all have not seen anything yet! I have had the privilege of holding one of these, and being able to turn it around and around and stare at it in amazement.

Not only is the cast incredible, but the dragon skin makes it feel like you’re actually touching skin.

The sculpt was done in such a way that just slightly re-positioning his head will almost make him appear to have different expressions.

The ‘clan of twenty’ will not be disappointed.
