Great videos 6rings. Did you get your suit with the muscle shading? It didn't look like it, or I couldn't tell with the video being dark.


Leslee, I know my suit is still in progress, so I can only hope that some of the issues coming up for those who received theirs can be addressed in mine before it goes out (stronger seams and whatnot). As a heads up also, I have already bulked up a bit in my chest and arms from my workouts over the last 5 weeks, so I hope that doesn't result in any fit issues since I brought up that concern in PMs.

For the boots I plan on using the sole from the ninja/Tai Chi shoes:

Lastly, how long did it take to receive the suit from everyone that got one? As in from when you were notified it was shipping to actual arrival. I'm in NY, so just curious. Very anxious to get this baby :D

Steyin - if you're talking about delivery time, with DHL express it took about 4 days. Almost half of that time was the last 30 miles :) Two days to make it 99 percent of the way there!

Mine took Three business days to arrive.

The shoe I am using, the soles have already been removed as all might have seen in the video. So the shoes shown have already had their soles removed. I just recalled that I did not give you the width of the shoe: 12cm in the widest spot, just in case you need it. After you meet with your tailor, let me know what I should do to correct the suit either you mailing me material or I shipping the suit back for adjustments.

Again I can not say enough about how INCREDIBLE the suit is. Thank you Leslee/Lee.

Ive also received my suit and it is awesome. Only had one seam pop in the shoulder area and would need to be tightened a bit around the abs and knees but other then that its perfect. Also the boots seem to be a tad bit small (cant seem to get the slipper in that i bought without it stretching too much) but overall great suit and the urethane parts are also awesome and def the best out there!!

Nice found on the shoe , its quite thin and will work fine in your boots , pls remember to take off the sole . ;)

As for the fitting issue that happens on few member's suit ... ive actually having several times of meeting and make lots of correction on pattern and scaling size , after Mike's feedback on his suit . We also fixed Mike suit for him , but still he will need his local seamstress to do the final correction on his knee area . But we can see better skin fit tight suit on other's suit . Some suit might be too tight and cause of seams break due to the very skin tight .... so i will ask wearer to fix the broken seams sewing by hand after wore . Also the break seams issue will be less happen after few times of wearing cause the material will stretch and become abit loose , compared to fist time suit up .

As ive stated earlier , its really difficult on scaling all body parts to 100% perfect , due to the less stretch material . The size will only fits in few CM of different ... not like the Lycra suit material that can fit more size range and easy handle about the sizing .... making this full MOS body suit experience is like making a fit tuxedo on a person ... we need to take care the full body measurements carefully .

Im actually planning to replace this glissnette material with other material that with much better stretch and will fit much better with less issue with fitting .......... But that will take quite long time ......... so guess we will still have to go with the glissnette material in hand .

If anyone else plans on getting the same products for their boots as I mentioned (pictured below) beware of two points:

The soles of the ninja shoes are more of a red-brown than red, and will need to be painted the appropriate color to match the suit. At least that's what I'm doing now.

The Tamarac slippers run big. I'm normally a size 12 for shoes and am returning my pair for a size 11 instead. Also, I don't really feel they will fit well inside the boot given the stretch properties of the material (since a few people are having seam issues), but this is more so due to not accounting for the inserts in the measurements provided to Leslee.


Anyone have any progress on which glue to use for the armor pieces?

When placing your foot in, does it cover most of the top of your foot or is there a big gap before it hits your ankle area?

The stretch on the boots and the suit in general is interesting because it stretches both vertically and horizontally, but the one way stretches much better than the other. So with the blue material, it stretches vertically better than horizontally. By vertical, i mean in relation to the chainmail pattern. For most of the suit that's up and down, and the same is true of the arms if you have them laying next to your body. I think the boots however go the other way. In relation to the chainmail pattern, they seem to stretch better horizontally.

Still waiting to hear on the E6000 for the glue. I can't do anything with it until my suit is altered, so I'm also waiting to see if others have tried it.

I should first mention I purchased the alternate Tamarac slippers (http://www.amazon.com/Tamarac-Slipp...bs_shoe_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=05D3P33E74RJJSH2M5MZ) as they have the elastic band and the front of the foot has a longer slope as opposed to the short one of the originals you posted mydlyfe (http://www.amazon.com/Tamarac-Slippers-International-Opera-Slipper/dp/B004IYYKK0/).

I'm sure you could use it, but it is a thick sole. Here's a closeup:

It covers most of the foot. Only the ankle is exposed, as seen here:

I think the other slippers would have more exposed.

For comparison, the ninja/tai chi shoes' sole is only 1/4" thick, while the heel is 11/32" thick. Much thinner than the slipper's sole/heel.

Just want everyone to know that Leslee has stayed in touch with me about my suit and was even willing to fix the issues that it had. This has been worth the cost and wait. Leslee came through and the suit will be complete.

well punishernc will have pics soon and will prob show which glue he used. ive just reinforced some seams and adjusted few loose areas so should be all good here on sizing leslee :)

now onto putting on the other parts in time for the upcoming convention in octobre.
