Thanks Bryan for sharing all the pics of u wearing the suit and im sorry to hear u popped more seams , the suit itself has less stretch cause of the thick layer of chain mail texture . The new suit material that ive chosen were more stretch than the V1 material . No doubt after printed the thick chain mail texture , it took away the stretch of the suit . Ive tried to print in as thin layer before , but the shape and layers of chain mail were less beauty ........... Another reason is we will have to scale the size to fit very tight on wearer's body , to have the look of MOS , im very happy to see Bryan wear it tight enough and the muscle shading shows pretty results .

Yes , they changed everything on the BVS Superman suit except the chain mail texture . From suit color , cape material , body armor trims design , muscle suit ...

The BvS armor also looks more subtle and blended into the suit rather than noticeably apart like on the MOS suit. There are parts of the leg, wrist, and ribs armor that actually separate out and expose the undersuit which is different than the solid pieces in MOS.

Cheers for the detailed pictures Bryanakin, suit looks awesome on you. On the belt and waist armor changes, it seems to me that the BvS suit is indeed a two piece suit, could that be? It looks like the top part is overlapping the bottom part, and you can clearly see a line between there. Cavill mentioned that they had tweaked the suit also in order for him to be able to pee without taking off the whole costume. I don't see a crotch zipper there like the ASM2 suit, so maybe that's how they did it? Just a thought.

Thank you for the feedback. Snyder confirmed in the panel that they made a zipper for Cavill after their experience in MOS. But I agree with you that it is not easily visible.

Did he specifically say crotch zipper though, take a look at this, I marked the areas where I think the top part joins the pants, this could also be why they widened the belt area and made the buckle square in order to hide the overlapping line.

This has been an awesome thread to follow. If you ever decide to undertake the BvS suite, I would defintily be inetested in one.

Saving up should give me enough time to get back into shape. Ha.

They changed the chain mail too, I'm sad to say. There's all kinds of Kyrptonian writing hidden on the suit. Pics attached. And this isn't even all of it

BUT the overall chain mail pattern is the same. it just now has writing embedded in it.

Boy, that's going to be a bear to replicate at any reasonable hobby level. It's not just the swoops of writing added in, the chainmail pattern itself has been distorted and distended everywhere depending on the muscle grouping---look at the way it's skewed to follow the contour of the boots. Pretty much every inch of the printed pattern is mapped to a single specific location on the figure--there's no even stencil that can be used for the fabric pieces anymore. There's at least 10grand of R&D and labor in each of those suits. Woof.

Yeah, that's the kryptonian alphabet created for the Man Of Steel movie, I wonder what it says on there, and on the shield, someone here must be able to translate it.
