Thanks for these, DGSimo.
The Under Armour boots Max wears appears to be desert tan all weathered up. Still can't be sure since parts of the sole look black but compared to the black boot next to it, it looks more tan than black. Also notice the the patch work on it.

Managed to get the full photo of this one too. Little more boot and brace detail.

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road Costumes Thread

Great pics guys!
the leg brace seems to be totally diverent from the Original.

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road Costumes Thread

After looking at close up pics of Max's leg brace, I'm becoming convinced that it is built on an existing leg brace, just disassembled and cobbled back together with other spare parts. Notice the strap slits in the calf portion of the brace.

I believe so just a differnt model. The one Max wears the bottom half seems to be longer and closer to his foot with the strap slits spaced out more. Also the top of that piece where the bolt or rivet is the metal looks like it curves in a bit then continues straight down, just like the curved bend on the brace you posted but that one has it on the bottom.

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road Costumes Thread

Right, definitely not the same model but after looking at them on ebay it looks like DonJoy has the style with the lower curved leg piece. just have to find the right one. Also, they may have modified the existing brace by bending it, like we had to do with the tailgate hinges for the Road Warrior brace.

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road Costumes Thread

Thanks Fabian for pointing that out!
i think it is possible to take it in and make it smaller, what about the seams in the arm shoulder?
maybe there are better shirts found already?

thanks!

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road Costumes Thread

I found a J Crew waffle weave thermal on ebay that looks really close. I'm not sure of the exact brand or color they use in the movie but the J Crew thermals seem to fit the bill pretty well.

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road Costumes Thread

I seen some waffle weave thermals at Walmart that looks pretty similar too, the collar is thinner also.

Also check out this new photo posted today. Finally a side shot.

Re: Mad Max: Fury Road Costumes Thread

I haven't translated the site but it just looks like they are selling imported Chris Reeve Pacific knifes from the states and just marketing them as what Max uses in the film. Schrade makes a knife that's similar but it's not accurate. It's way cheaper though if you're looking for a close enough alternative.
