Do the transistors not fit through the center holes?

Once I file off the little nub on the op amp, it would probably sit inside the recessed side, but they do not fit all the way through the holes. I don't think that would look right to me anyway.

Check out the way the S is misprinted on the left, looks almost just like the reference.

I believe the far left one had some modification done to it to make it close to the documentation we have available.

JoeG will you be putting yours “through” your washers or on top like in your photos?

mugatu I'd have to do some work with a file to put the op amps through the washer. Currently they don't fit. I suppose I might try one to see what it looks like, but I don't think it would look right.

So, after a quick filing job, here's what the washers look like with the op amps going through them.

Now that I've done it, I think I kind of like it this way. I've got tons of these washers, so if there's a demand I can put them in the JY.

Posting the overall height of the transistor and then how much is exposed when pushed through the washer might be helpful too.

Personally I'd also dial down the outer diameter too, maybe by 1 mm. The bevel and the flat area look to be identical widths in the chronicles shot

The transistor on screen doesn’t seem to be as tall, and matches your setup
