M8 Avenger Rifle (MDF Build - questions within)

I had another topic mentioning I wanted to start this build but I figure i would make a thread exclusive to this build for progress updates

I am going off the plans I bought from Volpin since his work is quite inspiring among many other of you guys out there. This is my first big MDF build (have worked with it before to an extent)

I am jumping between all the the woodworking tools I own;

jigsaw, band saw, scrolls saw, belt sander, dremel, (I have a router on the way in the mail)

Here is an update. Tons and tons of sanding. MDF is no joke. Running two shop vacs. I definitely would like to jump into making a resin cast of this when this master is completed. I was thinking of going with a Matrix Mold getting the idea from Punished Props, since Bill has a video of creating the rifle from District 9 from MDF..I figure it would be logical to sort of follow that process. I hope all the photos are properly uploading. At first it shows all of them as smaller thumbnails, but when I return to this thread, it replaces some of them with just "Attachment "X")
