So for the PCB project I am done! I'm going to port everything over to a build thread so I can pop 50 posts, then I'll do up an interest run here and on a few Facebook groups so I can stop spamming this thread.

Still working out particulars for resin triangle inserts. Details to follow.

Just little heads up, sloths creepy uncle card is the same length as the rotj card

A little sanding required for the ends to fit flush

But the gold is beautiful

Below I have the card flush on one end showing how long it is. Split the difference and sand a little

Ha, I was JUST about to post mine. It arrived in the mail today.

Good news for those who suspect the "13th" trace is actually just a short clamp card exposing the open box.

The back of the card is so beautiful, though, I don't want to cut any of it off!

Totally forgot about the back! Yes it is!!

I don't own this saber but I had a set of shared Stunt cards printed in gold. It wouldn't be hard to order some of these that are the right size if there were enough people that needed it.

Pardon my chicken scratch, would anyone else be interested in having secondary triangle plates cut out of 1/16” aluminum and translucent triangles made to hit the ROTJ look?
im also wondering if everyone’s plates match the same tolerances? Might start an interest thread if people are into the idea... perhaps after confirming a blessing from Roman? ;D

Can't confirm anything about the plate (don't have my saber yet) but I would certainly be interested in a plate & triangles accurate to ROTJ. Count me in! :)

Hey BRRogers ! If you're using my 11/64" measurement for the triangles, remember that: 1. It's not necessarily 100% accurate, 2. It's the height of the triangle, not the length of the sides!

Also, you have a measurement at the bottom that is incorrect/impossible. ;)

It looks like you're using the original Roman's Plate screw holes, correct? If yes, then I would put the larger 'tip of triangle to side of plate gap' on the Red Triangle side. It would offset the overhang of the triangle tips in a manner that would emulate the overhang on the Hero (a little bit anyways). Leave the gaps the way you have them for the 'side of plate to centerline of screw holes' where they are so that the plate aligns with the Roman's control box.

Oh, and don't forget the countersink bevel on the screw holes!

I would definitely be interested in a new plate.

Are you saying to move the red arrow inboard? I was planning to modify that and include a bevel for the screw holes. Everything else must stay the same to line up with the control box. Also I like the 11/64 all sides triangle, I think it looks the best

and yes I realized later I used the wrong fraction of an inch at the bottom ;)
ive got a cad drawing in the works which will have all the corrections.
