I never really looked into anodization because I've never really liked the end result, but I got curious. As it turns out anodizing at home is rather easy once you sort out a supply of acid and other chemicals.

Both the stunts from ANH (V2, Shared stunt) and the hero had uneven grips, in different ways. The V2 was cleaned up on a lathe so the rings look pretty even, especially compared to the others.

Look what showed up today...

It dropped right in to my V2, no filing or sanding.

The only difference I see between my normal batch of these and the new V2 batch is the plating isn't near as glossy/reflective. The board material also seems to be a lighter color, which is a good thing.

They sure are pretty.

The base plating color and the gold plated color are very close together, you see differences in certain light, so silver soldering for a little extra contrast might be what people want, not sure.

As I have said, if people want a silver soldered version, that's possible, and will be a choice at checkout.

Plain $21
Silver Solder on ESB Side $25
Silver Solder on ROTJ Side $28
Silver Solder on Both Sides $32

This includes shipping anywhere on the Earth.
This includes the gold plating. I wish gold were cheaper, but it's not. It's gold.
Each card has ESB layout on one side, and ROTJ V2 layout on the other.
Should NOT have to trim, file or cut this card. SHOULD drop right in to your build.

Pick your option for silver soldering. Silver is not cheap either, nor is my time to solder all these lil things. I am even including an option to solder both sides if you want.

I think Slothfurnace will be offering these for a while, take it easy for a while. I don't think Dan has planned a second run yet, especially since he's not done with this one. He might have leftovers too, so hang in there!

i guess I have not been following this soldering detail. Where is this detail at?
