Polished Cooper sounds great. I was planning on powder coating that piece in a transparent copper at my shop.

Interested in an accurately sized one with UNeven rings, hollow controlbox, copper or aluminum neck

I'm also in the camp for accuracy so I'd be happy with all aluminium, also the uneven rings are a must have detail, imo :thumbsup

The rails on the controlbox are brass :

If you get the casting from manooga, can you please check out the mill cuts on the cubes? The angle does not meet up to the hilt directly but has a flat cut made that intersects the angle cuts. I'll try to post a picture because it is hard to explain.

My casting is wrapped up and stored away for the time being. I might have to dig it up.

Just a small update guys.
I will be getting the casting tomorrow which should answer most of my angle questions.
I am trying to get the machinist to do a first article for us to see.
