I'm actually curious about when they start to run the foam.As I recall Guy,the outer skin was to be your industry standard latex foam,but what is to be the core material?Or did I misunderstand and it is to be all foam latex?

I believe it will be all foam latex with an outer skin of a protective coat that blocks moisture & UV (ozone).

Cant wait to see the first 'naked' pull then the first one with fur !

The Luke and Han puppet have always amazed me... They look so realistic, mainly the fabric they reproduced... with a subtle weathering... :love

Phase 2 of the mold is complete, just need to smooth out the belly of the beast then pour the last section. Latex has been ordered & then its Fur fitting. Weh heh, & wow nearly 10,000 hits.

!0,000 hits, wow. still a long way to go but thanks to everyone for supporting me with this project & following the progress. Much more to come & no doubt as the fur goes on it will become closer to my dream SW prop. When the first Fur tests happen I would really love your honest opinions of how it looks as it is such a crucial part to the process, Jim is really excited about getting it started so it should move along quite quickly once we have the first latex Taun.

Why didn't I think ahead & have Plaques made for this in the Plaque run I did, DOH!

Is the muscle placement based on the actual stopmotion model?
or is it just your own sculpt ...
