lost boys MARKO jacket replica!

Does PopCouture make them? I figured the only place to get them was on Contrado. Both of mine are originals though so I can't really speak to the prices of those, I'd imagine fairly inexpensive though, most the stuff I ordered from them was a great deal.
Oh. I don't know myself.

FYI if anyone is looking to get the Anarchy & Skull patch made from Contrado the heavy canvas material is out of stock and won't be available until October. There are other heavy fabrics but the closest one is called sailor's heavy canvas which is 14.16 oz. I may or may not go with this company. I have ordered canvas from another place but don't believe they make a canvas this heavy.

I received the Anarchy and Skull prints I ordered from Contrado and decided to do the stitching myself since I have the overcast foot. It's not perfect but oh well...

Few more updates from my findings (still have leads on other stuff);

Found another Screw U patch, seems to be amongst other patches but still uber rare to find.

The Skull sword and the 13 skull patch are from the Vietnam era as their originals are listed as Vietnam but also found on war clothing. They have their designs cleaned up and updated I'm guessing 80's which are the Marko ones. I've seen the skull sword on a jacket with other Marko patches and its a biker one, figured that these patches were potentially all in the same group since yellow boarders and skull-related, perhaps Join The Professionals is a war one too? It says 73 on it, but The Professionals band was formed late 70's.

It seems that some of the rarer patches such as the laughing skull, live to ride seems to have stickers and pins created too, I'm guessing whoever made the design it was then just mass-produced on all biker-related items like badges/pins, patches, decals etc.

One of my leads is finding Laddies jacket which I think I've got something extremely close if not original but I'll update if it's confirmed.

Also, I've got spares of the 13 patch (gold, blue, orange metallic) that are original. I've got other lesser patches too. Looking to trade or if anyone is no longer interested in making the jacket drop me a PM.

I've looked and looked for these. Never seem to be able to catch them. I think out of all the recreations the skull and dagger and the 13 have been the ones needed the most. I wasn't happy with mine. I finally got a good recreation of my skull and dagger, but the 13 I still need. Are you keeping the screw U patch?

This would be a second Screw U patch, I need them to be honest, I may part with it in the future but if I did I'll let the forum know. I believe there is a really close replica you can get though

So etmatthe and I have been watching a "screen used" Lost Boys comic for sale on ebay for entertainment. They started out at $20,000, then $15,000, and now $10,000 with NO COA. I reached out to them and told them without a legitimate COA it was an unrealistic expectation to sell it at that price and recommend utilizing the services of the Prop Store. I also pointed out that the ORIGINAL comic artwork recently sold at Heritage Auctions for only $5,250 four years ago. Their response was they have been offered more than that, LMAO.
Anyway, a little off topic but thought it was funny and thought I'd share. BTW licensed replicas currently sell for about $200, but I purchased a replica from Rabbid Weasel Studio and they're pretty decent for the price if anyone is interested. Pair it up with a vintage Vanity #1 like the original that is displayed at Atlantis Comics in Santa Cruz Ca. for better authenticity, I got one to display with my jacket replicas.

Reposting after changing dimensions. This cutout sample is 10"x7.5"H. I had created another sample that was 11"Wx8"L but again thought it looked enormous on this smaller version of the jacket. I also noticed the skull patch below looks larger than Ghost rider. At this point I am growing weary about fiddling with the dimensions anymore because the only program I have a s Microsoft Word which sucks for stuff like this.

I noticed there is a Marko jacket up for sale as well, claiming to be all original and you can clearly see that it isn't.
Something else I find interesting is they're asking like two thousand dollars for it, and yet they only post two grainy pictures. If I'm paying that much money for something I want to see good quality pictures, and the more the better. I also read in the description it says the "smell" of the jacket is devine. What is that even supposed to mean, sounds creepy and disgusting.:lol:

I hope no one falls for it. I just assumed they meant that it smells old. LOL, I don't know. I will admit that some of the tapestries I bought smelled like the attic they probably came out of, and they did remind me of The Lost Boys' cave. But that's me and my overactive imagination. Ha ha.

Better than some of the tapestries I got, they smelled like cat urine and old cigarettes. Maybe that's what "devine" smells like:sick:
