lost boys MARKO jacket replica!

So...I purchased two of those "boyfriend" jackets in an XS and S ladies. The shoulders and arms a still a little big on both jackets. The only difference is the XS is a a little snugger on the hips. The question is for those who made this or still in the process of completing this jacket is that did you buy one true to size or kept the shoulder area a little loose because of the weight of the material? Sorry if I asked this before. View attachment 1649238
These jackets just aren't working for me. I decided to just chuck the one I already cut up and leave the second for another project. I purchased another at a thrift store which is a near perfect fit. It's just not 100% cotton.

What I've done so far. Excess bulk needs to be trimmed here and there.

I saw a green/gold squid lure somewhere online maybe Amazon but that orange/blue one is non-existent. Even Bass Pro Mills online has nothing.

This is the best you're gonna get.

Hey guys, I'm so glad to be here on this thread, would you help me finding the tough parts on Marko's jacket and share the links to start this awesome piece? Thanks

Welcome.
What tough parts are you referring to? The tapestries or patches?

Well I finally finished my David jacket to be displayed with my Marko jacket. I still need to get a nice case for it but I wanted to share what I have so far. I was able to identify the correct pieces with help from The Lost Boys Facebook group moderators. The jacket was identified as a 1939 Clothcraft by the Prop Store. I was able the find one and match it by the label and the inside pattern of the coat the Prop Store listed.View attachment 1660326I see that they used watch faces for his buttons - do you know which kind or any details ?

I've decided to also make Paul's coat. With the help of LostNSantaCarla I've believe we have identified the correct pieces that most people get wrong. They're both antique drawer pulls. We already know he has two of them on his jacket, but I believe the "batwing" on the top of the posted photo is the correct size and shape. The other is a floral medallion drawer pull as noted in photos.

There is only one watch on his jacket, the other things are a French medal, and two different types of buttons. See post 789. The watch is a vintage Valencia and the other is what I believe is a WWI or WWII trench watch.

I'm in the very early process of starting this jacket. It's hard to find hero tapestries. Do you guys think just getting some rug printed with all the needed designs would work? Lol I want it to look nice but also not be too costly.
