lost boys MARKO jacket replica!

Yes it is. I just discovered that. However I found something like it on Etsy but I think the shipping on a piece of trim for me is a little too steep.

Figured out what tapestry his collar is from.
Also, I have an alternative idea that I know some of the others here went with. There’s a website that will print on fabric for you.
You could look into it. That’s how I plan to do his collar and the two ladies.
The site is called contrado. They’ll even print on velvet, apparently.

Okay thanks! I'll check it out. I've been using Spoonflower for other stuff but they are iffy with copyright infringement. And I don't like their material a whole lot. Does contrado do patches as well? I made my own with denim but they suck.

I don’t think they do. I have a family friend making Marko’s patches for me. I was going to direct everyone to her after she’s done. See what the quality is and if she’s up for more orders of the same patches.

Does anyone know what the source for the graphic on his collar is? I'm figuring it's another boarder of a tapestry.
It's the Border of the Snake Lady Tapestry

There's a Member here that has an ETSY shop that does Patches, and has a set of about 17 that sells for around $130. I just ordered my 2and set from them. That's not all you'll need, but it's close.

There are 24 patches total (25 if you count the Winged Wheel on the Sleeve which I've only ever been able to see on the Screen jacket in one scene)

I just bought this on Etsy. I settled on something that was somewhat similiar to the real piece even though the colours are not the same. What do you think? I haven't started yet. I know even know if Marko wore a black or blue jacket. I think it was black.

I also started off with thus tapestry. My advice is save yourself some time and dont use this. It's way too large, won't give you the parts you need, and leaves a sickening feeling in your stomach once you realize that and have destroyed such a beautiful work of art.

For what it's worth, I used a Black Denim Medium sized Trucker Jacket. I had to taper the waist, and bring it in about 2" to get it to fit right.

I used them to replicate the Cleo from the back.

I wear a Ladies S. I can also fit into a Boys XL denim jacket. True.
Yeah...This is going to be a challenge.

It’s a challenge for sure. I have two jackets now. I bought a black Levi’s trucker jacket in small originally. But these tapestries are in fact heavy and stiff. It’s gonna make the denim worse. So I got a medium just incase.

Thank you! That’s an amazing close up too.

If you went through contrado, what material did you print yours on? I was looking at their velvet options.
Also I really appreciate the photo of the other tapestry boarder. That’s a really good close up shot.
I used Fasioncrepe (it's printed in the upper right hand of that pic) and it's decent. I'm going to sew it onto a piece of Cheesecloth type material that I can Fray the ends of.

Another little detail that most people miss on the Cleo is that there are Sequins in her eyes that flash with the light. You can see this effect most notably in the Video Store scene.

Never noticed her eyes this way before in the movie. I like the original better.
