I would start looking at the upper torso of your 1/24 scale harrier pilot and the arms from your 1/24 Me 109...the head from 1/24 dragster model I think.

1/24 Harrier pilot body is in fact correct. Harrier pilot arms look good, too. Still looking for the head, though.

Here are some of Frank's pics of his ILM pilot casting which he emailed me and asked me to post. I've enhanced & cropped them:

Thanks for the pics, Frank!

Jamie...ease up.

HE DID add info that no one else had regarind the arms.

THat makes him a contributor.

Geez, Jamie, cut the guy some slack. Anybody is free to guess at this stuff. Hell, we pretty much all have at least one 1/24 Harrier laying around to check out. And while we're guessing, it helps having more than one or two guys offering suggestions as to what a part might be.

For example, I hadn't thought about dragsters until C17LM mentioned them today. Now I'm back to looking through my catalogs. He just might have something there. And if the helmet is from a dragster kit, we'll consider ourselves lucky that C17LM stopped by.

Besides, I recognize this guy's username. This may be his first post since we left ezboard, but I remember him posting back there, too. Here's his ezboard profile.

And no, I don't think we should lock this forum down. I've said before that I respect any individual's desire to withold information, for whatever reason. I may not always agree, but I understand.

Even so, I'm still here to learn stuff. And while I can do a whole lot of learning on my own, it helps enormously to have other guys around who are willing to share what they've also learned, 'cause it's almost always different from what I've picked up on my own. I don't know where I'd be without the gracious help of so many others who've posted on this forum.

Now, let's relax and have some fun, allright? It's only a model...

Look before you leap butthead.

Steve Radler...who has posted and is not a newbie....and does not need to prove so

Jamie,

Now would be a good time to tell everyone you were being really sarcastic and really didnt mean what you said.

Then apologize for being taken in the wrong context.

Also Beaz take a look at 1/24 Dragster and formula kits for arms and Helmet...he said they used arms from racecar drivers too and I notice a checker pattern in the arms which indicates racecar/dragster suit...still working on helmet stay tuned. Also dragsters also includes funny cars from the 70's...Remember the Snake and Mongoose? very popular cars back then.
