London Film and Comic Con 2011

Here's just a few snaps I took on Saturday.

Sorry about the quality, the lighting in there is simply awful - so bad that I switched to the hipsamatic app as it applies a filter, something that would cut down on the sheer amount of yellow the overheads gave off!

My favourite is probably the GLaDOS and Wheatley cosplay - very well done to those two!

well after a hell of a wait for Christopher lloyd on sunday (a lot of people just behind me were about to be turned away) final got out of there last thing sunday. below are a few of the pics I took of the "stars":

Corey Feldman, got his autograph on the friday night preview. Nice guy and up for a chat if you wanted. Seemed to take time to talk to everyone that saw him.

Jeffery Weissman, another really good guy that would have talked all night (friday night preview again) if you'd let him. Was also collecting for Team Fox.

Ricky Dean Logan, once again a friday preview, great sport, only wanted a picture of him signing Almanac but he insisted on taking one with me (as you can see still in work gear).

Lea Thompson, sunday day this time, all I can say is she is a wonderful beautiful lady, was a real pleasure.

Christopher Lloyd, well all I can say is what a palaver. The queuing system went to pot and I was lucky in the end to get a signature off him. Even with time running out they were letting people (for example) get 4!!! pairs of glasses signed!!! Couldnt believe it. The poor guy in front was getting worried he wouldnt get his BTTF poster signed (already signed by MJF). As for Christopher Lloyd, well time was getting on and the queue was getting more treated like conveyer belt, but he made a lovely signature for me, and when prompted shook hands. Looked very tired and did noticed a shaking hand when reaching for a pen. Overall just think he was hard pressed to get everything done (wasnt allowed to take a pic of him signing this or any pic).

i went on saturday - my ticket number was 653 30 mins after opening time, by 2.30pm he was only doing up to no. 170 - with 3.5hrs left it was obvious to me i wasnt gonna get my item signed - realistically they gave out way too many tickets for him - i was told i had a 4hr wait for the signature - i gave up and went home by 3pm with the number still listed 170 on the que.

did the numbers start again on sunday - or were they carried over from the prev day

They start again each day. Think yourself lucky you were not trying to see Karen , her queue was very very long

My Missus was number 471 for Karen, by the time she got in to see her (about 4:30pm) they were still giving out tickets... One little girl got number 1670! Come back at 5:30pm the guy said!

5:30pm?! When? Next week?!

Bugger, I thought it was you!!!! I was about 10-15 places behind you in the never ending queue, I was wearing my RPF tshirt, loved you Marty outfit by the way....

I was told that on Saturday When they closed the doors on entry Christopher Lloyd stayed until everyone got their autograph.

Sweet *****. Over the two days that's close to £60,000 for the autographs alone, and that's probably just 1200 people through the door - most people probably had two or three!

Erk!

I heartily enjoyed the day, next time I may go in my Vader gear. I was worried I wouldn't look good enough, but after seeing a rubies vader that was about 5.5" and wearing wellies and pvc catsuit type deal, I don't think I should worry too much!

By the end of the day Karen was on open queue, so I think she saw every one who stayed around long enough to see her. There was a big chunk of the middle of the day when she was off doing other stuff though so I think it could have been managed better.
