Done / Completed Life-size Lego Raygun replica

This is a "life-size" replica of the wee raygun that came with Lego space kits. The gun is 3D printed . The removable neon translucent tip was cast in translucent resin to perfectly match its wee counterpart. By my math, it's a 1:16 replica of the original. Building this really made me appreciate the designers of the tiny original. It's a really elegant design. And it packs a wallop.

No files. These are all molded and cast in resin.

I understand it is now possible to 3D print glass. That might allow a good red emitter. I think some bath product caps are about as wide.

SLA printed ProtoTherm resin would be an option for the emitter too.
