Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. Batman Arkham Knight, REVEAL 10/03

Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. *Batman BEGINS Updates Posted 11/27*

If I'm understanding correctly, the Keaton gauntlet isn't attached to the Begins suit, so a Begins style gauntlet could be used instead, is that correct?

Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. *Batman BEGINS Updates Posted 11/27*

The Keaton gauntlet is part of the glove. Like it was in '89. Look at the pics of just the jacket. The glove/gauntlet is a seperate piece.

Correct.
Here's what the jacket sleeves look like without the gloves/gauntlets on...

See the smooth forearms? That's exactly how the screen used torso part was done...and the gauntlets were separate. Things like this are what make this suit so versatile.

Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. *Batman BEGINS Suit Pics Added 10/26*

Later this month the Batman Begins Motorcycle Suit will go online for pre-sales. Once it goes live, we'll determine if reintroducing the TDK Suit will be necessary or not. For the time being it remains 'sales closed' however we do have a substantial wait list for it, but we do anticipate the Batman Begins suit to satisfy most of that demand...if not, we will reconsider the TDK...we'll know soon enough. :)

Rimma:angel

How do I get on that waiting list?

Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. *Batman BEGINS Updates Posted 11/27*

Pre-Sales for The Batman Begins: Movie Replica Leather Motorcycle Suit are now open!

You can check out the details at BATMAN BEGINS

We're working towards opening different suit components and individual garments up for ordering on their own for either later today or hopefully tomorrow at the latest.

As always, fit and sizing are the single most important aspects of your purchase. We encourage everyone to take their measurements and give us a call at 905-223-5818 to go over sizing together...just to be sure.:thumbsup

You'll be speaking with me, as always...:lol and you'll have to put up with my over abundance of caffeine, or very drowsy lack-of-sleep self.....depending on how my days have been going but please please please remember to double check sizing before you place your order.

Thanks again to everyone here for being cool, and for the continued business. :thumbsup

Sorry to hear you missed out on the TDK Suit. The current reality is this...once the sales on the Begins line close, be it because they sell out soon or by the deadline...at that point if we're still getting a lot of requests for it then we may reconsider a limited re-release. However this will only be determined after the Begins line sales are closed.
Since putting the Begins line up, requests for the TDK Suit have drastically gone down which is certainly due to the fact that the Begins suit is now the Batman product being offered, and many are now taking advantage of it rather than speculating and it ending up selling out sooner than the posted ordering deadline.
We'll revisit this once the Batman Begins sales are officially closed. :)
If the requests start snowballing all over again, then we'll see what we can do about accommodating the market.
Our goods are extremely complex, and the cosmetic make up of all the elements needed to physically build them is enormous. This makes managing production of several Batman Suit designs at the same time very challenging.

Ensuring quality produced products time and time again is something we continue to guarantee....so we have to manage our product production accordingly.

I hope this helps shed some light on how we operate. :thumbsup

A bit of an off topic update...
We commissioned a very talented local carpenter to replicate the Begins Armoire/Cabinet for use in Trade Shows, our soon to be complete showroom (finally!) and some cool promo work.
Obviously still a WIP, but I'm very pleased so far. :thumbsup

I can't wait to see it stained, panted and finished. Very very exciting. :thumbsup

Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. *BATMAN BEGINS Pre-Sales Now Open!*

i dont know if people realize that with the right material you can take a udreplica dark knight suit and make it bulletproof. use real bulletproof kevlar from a vest that you can buy from a guns and ammo mag or any website and use carbon plates in some strategic locations and folks you have a real batsuit. carbon plates are suitable because its lighter than aluminum and stronger than steel. if you test this concept do not have yourself or anyone else in the suit. and yeah you will likely destroy the leather. and you better be one strong beefcake to fight in it.

As much as I appreciate your first posting on the RPF being in this thread, let's also try to keep it real. This is not a military outfit, nor should anyone be outfitting these goods as such and testing them by actually shooting at them.
There's a fine line between real world function and movie world reality and it's important to note that these goods (all of our goods) are built with function and safety designed for motorcycle riding....not for being shot at.

As it is, our goods draw a lot of attention to the wearers, and our clients have commented over and over again at how awesome the whole vibe and experience is while being suited up...which ultimately is the purpose of these leather biker suits. Fun, functional, protective and safe....in the everyday world.

They're not designed for any kind of military or combat use, or conversion thereof.

Here's a little update on our cabinet...

First thing is the size, it's pretty large!
I'm just over 5'10 tall...

122.jpg

There's a wood sprocket on the inside of the doors that's connected to the handles so they actually lock and unlock the doors. The sprocket turns with the handles, and drops/raises the wood locks on both top and bottom of the closet. Lower sprockets will be added shortly. :up

123.jpg

Close up of the center dial detail. :toocool
The whole closet will be stained and finished with the same colors as what was seen on screen so our logo will 'blend'...but still be very visible. :lol

More to come....:)

Oh and yes...(hijacks own thread:lol)...that's the prototype Star Wars Empire Biker Jacket I'm wearing...proper pics, details and pricing for that will be in our Star Wars thread shortly....along with some other 'stuff'. :angel

Cabinet looks great, I hope I can make it to a show you are doing one of these days (Dragon Con in your future?) to shake your hand. Cool Easter egg with the Jacket too, I was thinking, Imperial Cog on the arm, is that the new Star Wars Jacket, why is the picture blurry?

Thanks for the updates, I love seeing what you guys are up to, all of my friends were extremely bummed that my TDK jacket is too small for them to borrow, it has been a huge hit with everyone I've shown it to / work it around. Your products really are impresive in person, keep up the great work!

Dude your post just put a big smile on my face... thanks bud!

We're at the Fan Expo in Toronto Canada every year...and that's a week before Dragon Con making it tough to do both....sadly. We will be at WizardWorld Toronto in March though.:thumbsup

Sorry about the blurry pics...they're taken by cell phone and I was moving around while they were taking them....at the time I wasn't paying attention to what was going on behind me......:lol

Great to hear that your buds can't steal your jacket away from you....but even cooler is hearing how happy you are with it! Always nice to hear what you guys think of our goods.....I guess it never gets old.:cool

Lot's more to come....and just wait until we go live with STAR WARS.....I get chills just looking at this completely new jacket design I have here behind my desk.:angel

Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. *BATMAN BEGINS Pre-Sales Now Open!*

David I bought the complete suit on Feb. 4, the last day of ordering. I just noticed though on the website that orders are still open. Have the 350 suits not been sold? Also do you ever plan on offering a TDK version again? Any XS pants & jacket hidden away in the batcave? Maybe offer a second run or is the contract only allowed for a limited time? I can't wait to get my Begins suit!

A little here and a little there and it'll be ready to bring home. The carpenter is doing a fantastic job and I couldn't be happier.

More to come. :)
