Wow, that looks even better than the actual screenused suit IMHO!
I´m not that much into Batman stuff but yours looks a lot more like the suit i had in mind when i read the comics as a kid and even nowadays!

Looks really spectacular. That Begins suit turned out really amazing. I did not know such precision was possible with leather.

Thanks dude and yes, I knew that he wore it on that...and other episodes of That Metal Show, but I have not as of yet been able to watch it. I'm in Canada, and that link you posted says I can't view the video.:cry

Thanks Matt! This one has been by far the most difficult and challenging one we've done to date...and I'm uber thrilled with how the production is shaping up!

Update Time!

Batman Begins: Movie Replica Motorcycle Suit, Gloves and Boots.

All Q2 Batman Begins articles are on schedule.
Production is going very well but due to their design complexity we are taking extra care in the production of your goods.
Also of note, this is the very first batch of Begins goods, so you can bet we're going to go that extra mile in getting every aspect PERFECT!!
So far...so good!

Also...While very dark...this is a pretty cool Begins Jacket Pic!!!!!

Notice that the armpit area is all leather now..with the heavy duty 4 way stretch spandex insert inseam...but the entire upper torso is now all leather..with floating shoulders, biceps and actual leather elements tucked into and under the upper chest armor. Really cool stuff!
Also this is the proper jacket length...sorry for the angle of the pic but I will have more updated shortly.:thumbsup

We're working folks, but we are looking at June deliveries now...still within the proposed deadline and our focus and emphasis must continue to be quality, accuracy, comfort and performance from all our goods.

Hey bud,
Yes....and we've hit a snag in production, unfortunately...but we're on it!

I just added this to our Facebook Group Page moments ago:

"As you all know, the Q2 Batman Begins goods were the very first production run of these Batman suit designs. As such, we have been taking extra care in their construction and assembly and while everything was going well and within our target deadlines, we are now facing a problem in the final assembly of the Jackets and Pants.
All components of the jacket and pants have been made individually and are/have been ready for final assembly for several weeks now. This means the shoulders, upper chest, biceps, triceps, abdomen and shoulder blade details, as well as all pant sections have all been complete and ready to be assembled into the final wearable jacket and pants but the process and machining needed is not cooperating with these goods.
We’ve encountered torn sections of leather armor and a general compromise of long term performance from these ‘stitched’ sections. As such, this is not acceptable.
The result is simple, we cannot proceed this way and all goods are now being assembled by hand. This means that the finished garments are now PERFECT!! The attention to detail, integral strength and final quality look are even better and ‘tighter’ than the first production prototype some saw at Wizard World Toronto. We sincerely regret this delay, and are now anticipating 4 weeks to complete all goods.
This means that Batman Begins Q2 Deliveries will go out by end of July 2011.
There is NO delay on the Batman Begins: Pre Suit Boots. Those are shipping now as well as our Tron Legacy goods, Wolverine and Iron Man products.
We trust that our commitment to quality especially now be seen as a testament to our goods and you are valued customers, and the fact that we won’t ship out goods that are not up to our standard of quality. I personally wish to apologize to everyone for any inconvenience this may cause…and hope this in no way diminishes your level of excitement as you wait just a little longer to ride in style. The goods need a few more weeks, not months…and the end result is now far superior than anything I myself had even hoped for."

Hey David,

Just wondering about the new dark knight suits you have for purchase. I've bought one but was hoping to get it before halloween. I know the shipping date says Oct-Nov-Dec so I was hoping that there'd be a chance I could get it before then. Seeing as this is a suit which has already had 2 runs before there shouldn't be any production problems like the begins suit right? So if you have any info on when exactly they're shipping that would be great to know!

Yes, here's what I posted on our Facebook page a few hours ago:

UD Replicas - Universal Designs Ltd.
Not to worry folks, we're in the final stages now of packaging. The first wave of goods will be picked up by Fed Ex tomorrow, and every day after more and more full skids will be sent out. As goods are shipped, tracking numbers go out to you from Fed Ex. As it stands, we're expecting the last shipment to go out by Monday. We'll continue to update you all, however everything is proceeding as planned....and you ALL have the right to ask for updates! ...and they ARE finally coming. :)

Again, a sincere apology for the delay...but you guys are going to love these goods. Sadly it took longer for several reasons, but this also allowed us to really dig into the product and do it better than I ever could have expected.
