Following in the footsteps of the TDK Batman Motorcycle Suit was not easy...and Dave wanted to be sure he could take this Batman Begins suit to a whole new level before releasing any images of it what so ever...yet again a big thanks for the support.:thumbsup
Here's a quick look at the back...As you can see the Batman Begins Pants also have full around leg and calf leather armor...just like the screen used Bale suit.
Floating Back spine, functional just like the TDK Batman elongating spine. :cool
It's difficult to convey just how detailed this leather suit truly is, but seen in person it's quite intimidating....and rather sexy might I add.... :love
Truer words have never been spoken!! Just remove the body armor from the inside of the garment and you're good to go.

That's correct, and also not a secret. Our Pre-Suit boots are already on sale and were also showcased early this year in the Blue Print teaser images of the next Boot design to be released.
We've already introduced the TDK Batman Boots, and took the opportunity now to introduce this uber requested boot (and Glove design) with these new Batman goods about to hit the website.

I'm really new here and this might be the coolest thing I've ever seen. I've haven't read every single post from the past 14 pages, so I'm sorry if this has been addressed, but is the Dark Knight suit sold out forever? I'd really like to have one and your site states that they are "currently sold out". I realize that you are developing the new bat suit, but I really prefer the first one. Thanks and great job - very cool.

David will be interviewed on 'Inner Space' (Television Show) that airs on the Space Channel Tuesday November the 23rd. All things UD Replicas will be discussed, you'll get to see the Batman Begins suit in action...and as I understand it David will be making a rather long awaited licensing announcement......:ninja

"we've already offered the TDK Batman Boots, so this time around we wanted to introduce a new boot design, and the 89 design/influence worked beautifully with the Batman Begins style. Same with these new Pre- Suit gloves, which were also leather gloves originally so the inclusion of this product just made sense...besides, it's all Batman, and we still have a lot planned product wise as we get into 2011."

I get making a different boot design that can be worn with different suits but the Begins gauntlet hasn't been done for this kind of suit. Why not make it with the correct style, assuming it's attached?

I think what it is is that on the film suit the gauntlet is a seperate piece from the suit and the glove. There is already forearm armor on the suit, unlike the DK suit where the gauntlet WAS the forarm armor. I could be wrong, tho. But it makes sense.

Good Question....and I'll do my best to explain, this is really a Dave question but here goes.
In the case of the TDK Leather jacket, the forearm gauntlets were part of the jacket because they too were part of the movie suit. As a 'replica' we did the same thing in that case and took it one step further and made them adjustable. They were offered together with the jacket because they were never meant to be separate...not in the movie and not in our product either. Removable, yes...an entirely different product, no.
In the case of Batman Begins, the forearm armor you see on our jacket is just how the torso sleeve armor was done in the movie. The 'gauntlets' he wore were separate...and as such we did not want to make them part of THIS jacket.
This makes wearing the Begins jacket a different experience over the TDK jacket. This time the jacket can easily be worn open and unzipped as there is no overlapping chest plate, and the lack of 'permanent' shark fin detailing on the forearms makes it easier overall to wear.
The smooth forearms, again 'movie accurate' makes it real easy to complete the whole Batman look with the addition of the Pre-Suit gloves.
Once again, the Pre-Suit accessories have become highly requested designs and we're doing our best to be attentive to what exactly the market is looking for from UD Replicas.......as well as every once and a while throw some surprises out ourselves.
