Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. UK and AU Territory Sales Added!

This has probably been asked before somewhere, but where do the pants cut off exactly? Is it at the molded kneepad or do they continue into a pants-like hem? Wave II, huh? Will this appeal to the people that have already invested in Wave I?

Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. UK and AU Territory Sales Added!

That suit realy does look excellent.....

The pants go down to the ankles like any normal pants do and have stirrups that go under your foot to hold them down when you sit on your bike. The inner leg part is heavy duty 4 way stretch spandex (motorcycle grade) and there are vertical zippers on the inside seams at the bottom cuff of the pant. The zippers are stitched in around leather trimmings. There is also a visible leather calf armor detail on the back of the leg below the knee and CE approved body armor inside the pant leg for the Knees and Shins...which are also removable.

As far as the next round of products go, I'd say absolutely yes. No question....but it's too early to tease you guys with anything.

Thanks again Jodo! Hey...you know I've been looking at your Joker pic...awesome make up btw!!!!:thumbsup ...and I've been asking myself 'who do you look like under the make up?'
-Answer is Malcolm Mcdowell.

Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. Sales Closing Oct 31 Midnight!

Hi everyone!

Just a quick update on production:

All goods that were sold until the October 31st deadline are set for Feb/March 2010 delivery and are so far 100% on schedule. All goods shipped generate an automatic email to you with your tracking number through UPS so yes, you will be able to track your goods.
I say again, everything is so far on schedule for complete delivery by Q1.

Goods such as the boots are still set for 2nd quarter delivery 2010 and we are still accepting orders for them regularly. :)

For public and immediate updates please join our Facebook group titled:
UD Replicas - Universal Designs Ltd.

We also have a new website that will go live very soon making navigation and ordering far easier than before....but what's most important is our commitment to quality goods and meeting our delivery deadlines.

Thanks again for the support,

Rimma :love

Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. Sales Closing Oct 31 Midnight!

Hey Rimma - I wrote a email on the website regarding the size of the shoes I should get.... I didnt get a response -(it's no big deal, I totally know you guys are swamped).

My suit will be more for display - so I purchased a medium sized suit - (which I was told was the closest to the screen size).

What size boots should I get?

Since you studied all the screenused stuff - I figure you'd know which size boots were the "right" size.

Thanks!

Oh! Sorry about that!!!!!
Considering that we manufacture the soles, meaning they're not an off the shelf item...our sizes are based on standard sizes but the best corresponding size would be our size 10.

Even though the site currently says that the sales for the boots are closed dont worry...we're still accepting orders there too!!! Thanks again for the business!

Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. Sales Closing Oct 31 Midnight!

What are the differances in Wave II? Sparked MY interest. Shameless bump too seeing 250 more units open for ordering til 26 Feb. 2010.

Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. Production is on Schedule. UPDATE 1/28

Slightly off topic, but does anyone else think that if the Bat specific pieces were removed (i.e. chest logo and gauntlet spikes) that suit would make a good base for a custom Dune still suit?

That is the big question everyone is eager to find out the answer to, especially on Batman-centric boards. Here's what we know so far. Wave II is focused on Batman Begins. There was a lot of talk about the Nomex survival suit (pre-black paint) and having an option to have the bat symbol on the chest or not (for screen accuracy). Dave also mentioned the idea of a BB/TDK belt to go with their products that would have functional pouches. Rimma says that pics of all this is coming very soon, but it is definitely not soon enough for anyone I know :lol

Re: Licensed Batman Related Leather Goods. Sales Closing Oct 31 Midnight!

Here's a look at our very first 'test fitting' of the TDK Batman Motorcycle suit...and now that this day will soon come for everyone else Dave gave me the go ahead to post these.

This was an exciting day for us all. :)

That is correct. Wave II does focus on Batman Begins and after the visual and technical achievement that is the TDK Batman Motorcycle suit we're hoping to raise the bar to a whole new height with what's next for 2010.
Oh and yes, something to carry your own Bat-Gadgets around in is coming...but no one here has used the word 'belt'....:cool

Thanks for the continued support everyone!
