Ok so I stopped by the booth at SDCC today and saw the suit in person and talked to David at length about it. Let me just say the suit is incredible. Its hard to believe but it looks better in person then in the pics. The kevlar parts look much darker in person and blend very well with the rest of the suit. The workmanship is amazing. No details were left out. They have paid so much attention to it being a wearable suit for riding also its great. I am going back tommorow to try the jacket on since he is bringing a 2nd one tommorow. Oh and I am not sure if he wants me to post prices or not so I will let them do it. Lets just say it is going to be very affordable for what it is.

Dave will be at SDCC this week and at that point prices and all remaining details will be released. We plan to kick this off with a special promotion that we hope many will find very interesting....angel

I also managed to stop by and check out the leather bat suit. It was pretty cool to see up close. All th eleather stuff that David had on display looked pretty darn nice.

I wore my RPF T-shirt for a couple of the days that I was there, and I think DavidR1 was the only RPF'r I met there.

Was just about to order a pair of gloves (about all I can afford at the moment :cry) but was quoted $30 for shipping from Ontario to Montreal, Quebec :eek. Any chance there'll be cheaper shipping options made available for those of us North of the border (e.g. Canada Post)?

I got the suit! WOO HOO! Oh boy I can't wait.

I just watched the interview. Dave said that this suit is so functional and WOW I agree. He put so much thought into this... down to the protection on the palms of your hands if you fall. That's just brilliant.
Floating, expanding spine.... kevlar... *DROOOOOOLLLLLL*

Now I feel like I have to get a motorcycle... I don't think riding a bicycle while wearing this suit will do the suit justice... :lol

Then again - if I get myself a full size batmobile... then I don't think Dave will mind.


AUGH - look at me - this suit is like a gateway drug - first the suit - now a bike - then the batmobile...

Sadly no. We've got the Fan Expo here in Toronto the weekend before DC, and Fan Expo is also a loong show...Dave usually needs a few days to recover from that one...:lol
I also know he's not fond of the idea of leaving town yet 'again'...after all he has two beautiful babies that scream 'daddy daddy' to him all day long, and a lovely, tolerant, understanding, patient, cool and downright awesome wife:lol...that he leaves behind every time so I think DC may be out this year.

The truth is it would be good for him to go and bring some of the Batman leathers for people to check out for themselves....even if we wouldn't have a booth set up. The thing is it's been a long year and I dont know that he's ready for one more show....and production of said goods to focus on shortly there after.

...yes yes, he's getting old-er..:cool
