Limited Run Leia and Chewie ANH brass handcuffs

thank you, since I know you get a kick out of those, here is a pic of the Dunkeys for you because you've been nice :-D I gave them apples this morning so they were particularly interested :-D They are all doing good at this time by the way. Last month was absolutely crazy with the animals, aver 2000€ of vet bills, I was at the vet every two days, but I hope this is behind us now.
In other news, I have managed to find another detail to procrastinate on today, I saw on a previous photo I posted that the machining marks were annoyingly visible on the back end of the clasps and clashing in their orientation with the rest of the cuff, so I decided to sand those instead of doing the last step of assembly!

Hey there,
Working on screws today! I sanded half of the remaining clasps too, but my fingers were too sore to finish all.
those brass screw must not have any QC, I have to go through all of them and see if they have flaws, like this:
a few didn't even have threading on them ahah
those that are good, I machine them clean and to the exact diameter I need to fit the holes perfectly like I explained in a previous test post. But I also have to file the back of the head a bit to remove the burrs that would prevent the head to sit correctly in its hole:
there we go, clean contour and no burrs:

27 rejects out of 127 screws!! Luckily I'm not that bad with my machined parts!
then, I cut and threaded a small aluminium cylinder to attach the screws the other way around, and I now have to remove 2.4mm on each screw so they are the proper length!
small annoying things, but some good progress

I have added you to the backup list, like I said, it's pretty long so I can't promise anything. Something to note as well, if you want to cosplay with this, I don't know how close to Chewie you are in size, but those are pretty oversized and might not be practical for cosplay.
for instance, I'm 1.82m, 90k, age 37, I have normal hands and wrists I would say, been doing manual work for 6 years, was working on a computer before. The handcuffs are huge!
