Lego: Marvel Super Heros

I think my sister is going to get this for my niece and nephew. So that means I will be over their helping them play it. They have all the others and they're still pretty fun.

I'm going to keep an eye out on this one. I like they finally have voice actors. The lego batman game that came with my xbox annoyed me as it had no voice actors. They even have Howard The Duck in the game apparently.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYPEfHlC1IA A good overview and covers Stan Lee's in game appearances.

I preordered it since it's coming out tuesday. It's 49.95 on amazon with free shipping and if you preorder you get a 10.00 credit to your account.

I liked when they didn't have voices. One of the funniest moments for my bf and I playing Lego Star Wars was when Darth Vader tells Luke "I am your father" by showing him a family photo of Anakin and Padme, holding a baby, and gesturing to the baby and Luke. I fell off the couch, I was laughing so hard.
The voices in the Lord of the Rings game were blah. The game as a whole was blah, but the voices were really not fun.

I got to playtest a demo of Lego Marvel, and there are a LOT of characters! It was really fun testing out the free play option. Flying around as Iron Man, and smashing EVERYTHING as Hulk were probably most memorable.

I think there's at least 100 characters in this game. The next 5 months has me buried in games preordered or sitting here lol.

The one thing I didn't like specifically about LOTR is that they just used direct dialog from the film. It made the whole thing a lot more "serious", which is NOT what the Lego games are about. I think Marvel might fix that by having original dialog that can still be very tongue in cheek compared to pulling dialog from an existing piece of "serious" media.

I loved Lego LOTR and Star Wars, though I agree that using the dialog straight from the LOTR films didn't fit the tone of the game. I'll probably get this one, but I still have to get around to getting the Indiana Jones one first.

Mine shipped last night even with me using the free super saver shipping on amazon. It should be here in a few days but as it's an xmas gift i can't open it just yet lol.

Yeah, it's probably going on my Christmas list. PS4 version. :)

I went with the ps3 version, anymore i only buy used xbox games but i'll buy sony new. i had my mom get it for me for xmas as she complained all i had on my list was dvd sets lol

I'll pick it up when it's on sale for cheap on Steam, which is pretty much the only way I buy games anymore these days.

Has anyone figured out how to get those characters trapped in the gold dumpsters in the city? I was trying to help my nephew and he said maybe a trash truck, but I couldn't find one. We tried Ironman's laser thing, but it didn't break like other gold objects.

I was going to say check youtube but it may be too new for any tutorials to be up. Mine came in the mail today. i want to open and try it out.

Nevermind about the dumpsters. My nephew pointed out that a LEGO chicken leg was hanging out of the dumpster, not an arm... :lol Hey it was right by a character unlock icon!
