Laser cutting for metal recommendation?

I'm trying to get two strips with "vent" holes cut from .02" aluminum. They'll be wrapped around tubes so they need to be flexible enough to wrap but not so soft to break. Maybe steel is a better choice for this?

I've got a few estimates out but if anybody can recommend a shop that they've worked with, that would be a big help.

I was hoping to take advantage of a real metal surface as opposed to painting it to look like metal.

I don't have a recommendation for a shop, but you might be better off having it punched or machined than lasered unless you're making a lot of them. I'm guessing you've already drawn it up in Illustrator, so you should be able to convert it to a DXF to send to a shop.
