Kylo Ren Hasbro Force FX Lightsaber

ok so just got new batteries and tested out the vader.

Man the detail on it is amazing and looks very well done, saber glows beautifully and sound is a lot better then the kylo.

Unfortunately I have never own nor personally handled a force fx saber before thus cant really compare to the older one.

Would definitely recommend this one. I will try to post photos later tonight

I ended up just doing a quick video to show you guys the color and sound of the vader saber.

Starting at about 1:03 you can see in my mirror that deep red color rather then the orange it comes out to be in the video.

Got four Kylo Ren at my local Walmart plus Yoda and Vader. Fortunately no Luke or I would have bought it and I am poor right now.

thank you, i think im going to pick one up.

FYI. According to CSS the Vaders will require moving the sound module to the rear on the new sabers to use their kits to convert to removable blade and duelable. They are working on a conversion kit for the Kylo however.

Nope. There seems to be very little overlap between the replica prop crowd and the lightsaber dueling bunch so I don't think FX conversions are a top priority for them. There is a tutorial on how to disassemble the Kylo Ren that was done by a member so not for the kit to come:

http://forums.thecustomsabershop.co...o-Ren-Force-FX-Lightsaber-Conversion-Tutorial

There's also a tutorial for disassembling the '07 Hasbro Vader but not for the '15 which is apparently different:

http://forums.thecustomsabershop.co...HFX-Vader-ANH-Disassembly-only-kits-available

And the Vader kits are sold out. I've emailed them to see if/when they have plans for another run but no response yet:

thank you, i saw the kylo thread it was very interesting. i stumbled upon a few things on the CSS forum. looks like the '15 yoda is a no go either... heres hoping new conversion kits are produced! or better yet hasbro releases removable blade sabers in wave 2

I hate to say it but I believe the economic slowdown in China is going to seriously impact our hobby. I wouldn't put too much faith in Hasbro at this point.

wow so the luke saber just came in and I am actually a bit disappointed in it.

I did a quick video on it and should be uploaded within 1 hour to show everyone here

yup, per what the box says

That is my mistake I meant to say it more as it "feels" like plastic instead of saying that it is plastic.
