    From Target:
087-06-3672 Toy Construc E7 Force FX Light $149.99
087-06-3674 Star Wars Kylo Ren Frc FX Light $199.99

I'm super excited for the Kylo Ren FX saber. Wasnt sure they'd do one this early. I'm guessing the larger price is because of the 2 little side blades. Really hope these are removable blade type that Hasbro made last.

Anyone have any predictions on how this will turn out? Though I doubt it, I hope the blades arent just smooth, but are kind of wavey or flame textured.

Dude! I can't effing wait for them to release that Force FX Kylo.

I'm thinking the side blades might be laser etched with wavy lines, but its gotta have that removable blade feature.

Too bad you don't have the other number from their website.
For example Kit Fisto = 16297170
or one that's not fully in the system nor on the site
Darth Vader (Removeable blade) = 16297171

Saw the force Fx saber yesterday, i was a bit confused as it looks nothing like the version seen in the films, its more like a modified version of the saber Luke lost. It kinda fits in the with some of the story leaks that kylo is hunting for for relics, and modifying them for his own use.

Is the Hasbro Vader discontinued and will it be reissued when TFA ramps up?

Yoda and Vader are being reissued with some new features and stands. Not sure if they are the removable blade versions.

Was it the Kylo Ren saber or the "Toy Construc E7 Force FX Light"? Because that sounds more like the Contruct FX saber.

The leaked Hasbro catalog didn't show the Kylo force fx saber, but it did show Luke ANH, Vader, and Yoda

First run of the new hasbros will be Luke ANH, Yoda and Vader ANH with the 'newer' tech.

Hopefully these will be more screen accurate with removable blades.

I believe there is a kylo ren force fx saber it's called kylo ren LS and it must be force fx because there aren't any labels for force fx.

yes there is a standard electronic toy, so that's what's labeled... There is not a spot big enough for an fx saber in that display that I can see

There are a label for SW E7 Jedi lightsaber and Jedi Master lightsaber but not the vader.

There's no box lol never than 2 feet in that product layout... A force fx saber box will be longer than that... Now there are collapsable sabers in that picture you posted... There will be fx sabers on Friday, but the picture you provided does not have any. Trust me... I used to make these for a living.

No 6" scale tie fighter no fx lightsabers. I expect the juicy bits will come out closer to screening.

The other FX lightsabers in the catalog are shown with new display stands and are under the "Black Series" moniker. Kylo's should be an instant sell out since this might be the only replica we get of his for a while until efx or someone does a proper replica. The rumor is that Disney is producing the replicas themselves which I hope isn't true bc then it would be so much geared towards collectors as it is towards the average shopper.

They should be, I can't imagine Hasbro not going that route again.

My questions are - will these still use strip LEDs and will Hasbro implement their own Flash on clash?

They did say these were "more realistic".

Yes, if you look at the photo you can see that the are "strip" and not lit directly from the hilt like most fan made hilts.

Incorporating improvements such as a better LED strip design and thicker blade walls such as Parks' (http://www.parksabers.com/Blade_Anatomy.html),

flash-on-clash would be awesome but not as easy to implement with LED string vs. Luxeon. Realistic flicker, available replacement blades, rechargeable battery pack with charge port...

If Hasbro started making viable light-medium dueling sabers it would open up a whole new market segment for them... it's fun to speculate I must say.

Same. It shouldn't be this complicated.

Possible ways we might be getting the Kylo on FF:
-The Target leaked listing could mean a surprise release (why would they do that though?).
-The leaked catalogue could be incomplete for the consumers (same question).

    Ways we won't:
-The Target listing is for later this year
-The leaked catalogue is complete for retailer purposes and they are waiting to release it (again, WHY)

Removable blades were an improvement. Later series featured more accurate soundboards and brighter lights. Mostly the same.

I had Hasbro's first fx release (non-removable blade) of Anakin, Vader and Luke. They felt, looked and sounded exactly the same as their MR counterparts (or so close that it was apples vs. oranges). The newer releases of removable blades are an improvement though in sound and light.

No freakin' WAY!!! That means the poor goobers selling their removable blade Luke ANHs on fleabay in the hopes of replacing then with the new ones coming out are in for a nasty surprise.

The 2010 Hasbro FXs with removable blades had a pretty nifty stand for displaying with the blade attached or detached. The new "floating" stand appears to just be for permanently attached blades like the 2007 and earlier MR and Hasbro sabers.

The removable blade sabers also came with blade plug pieces, which are not shown above, but I'm sure we'll find out soon.

The stand appears it can be used in two orientations. You could easily use it without the blade
